At least you guys have shipping dates and tracking to follow, in the UK we just have to hope it arrives at some point and no random muppet damages it on its 6000 mile journey.......very jealous of some of the boxes being opened so far. A lot of bum boxes yet to be seen?...those you can keep on your side of the pond
Yup in the UK as well. We''ll pay an additional £18 customs/ import charge and it will be a dinged up black Backspacer. That's how these things work. I'm planning on going one better than those who keep their vinyl sealed, going to keep the shipping mailer sealed then its whatever I want it to be. I'm calling this Schrödinger's vinyl paradox. Whilst the mailer is still sealed the record is simultaneously a Benny and a black Backspacer.

I took delivery of a 1.97 lb Lightning Bolt: RED and Mother Love Bone RSD today. I don't need another copy of Lightning Bolt, but at least it's red (I only have black). Overall this has been a pretty cool experience for me.
I always thought items like the bennies are numbered in the factory and then sealed, but the fact that these are labelled 15RSDxx means they're shrink-wrapped in the 10C warehouse, no? If so, why seal them at all if this increases the likelihood of them getting flipped at exorbitant prices? Even if it's to protect the item in transit, it could be done without the shrink-wrap? Just a thought... Or am I missing the point?
Ok just got caught up on everyone's posts since having a really hectic end to my work day. Update: no tracking updates here. Deffo not today, or any time soon....

@youngvedder congrats! Whereabouts are you located out of curiosity?
Since the Benaroya arrived in these parts I'll take it as a sign from the universe that we'll see the band up here soon.

Tenclub make a small tear in the shrinkwrap to number the empty box. Dont know about the original 2000.

I remember Santos saying he hand numbered all the original Bennys...

Oh yeah, you're right, now I see it on the pic....
More than 2,000 were pressed, hence all the extras being made available years after the fact, but all were factory sealed after production and the 10C staffer would just tear enough of the wrap to get a the market tip in
