    No, thank god.

I don't need to be getting deep into American Horror Story or some other twisted show/film while buzzing, doorbell rings (goddammit!), angrily hit pause, get up, throw some candy at the kid, then try to get back into the zone.

    MY zone.

(Now, if we had a house vs condo? Would be totally into it)

Good tenet, by the way, often. Completely get it.

Looking forward to the time change tomorrow (for those who do it)?

I've been wondering when that is. Honestly it took a couple days last year for me to notice it. I only have a watch that doesn't change automatically and I don't look at it very often. The one clock in the house was just put up a couple days ago so we put it an hour behind already.

Are you going to any shows this weekend

Nope, but Chicken Corn Chowder is in the crock-pot. SD is on the way. Are you coming, Jedi Hedo?

If you participate in Halloween, do you purchase "safe" items for kids who can't have a lot of things? (We have wax mustaches, wax lips, glow in the dark tattoos and Frosty coupons for those who can enjoy them.)

Aw man, if I could I would! That'd be some fine company.

And no to your question, though I remember the waxy lips (I think they had liquid in them).

Do you know someone who might enjoy a Frosty coupon??

    deadendpdeadendp Northeast Ohio Posts: 10,434
    No liquid in mine.

I would very much enjoy a Frosty coupon. Chocolate only, please.

By the way, soup is done. When you and SD get here, it should still be good and hot. Had to bail on the crock-pot. Got the soup started later and had early release for K. (What's with that anyhow?)

Back to the topic at hand . . .
Are you carving pumpkins this evening?

no...i've just lost my excitement for the holidays this year, so much going on!

I do love pumpkin seeds though! (which makes me sad to not be carving pumpkins)

Have you been to a corn maze?

It can be, particularly with little kids. They're easily confused.

Did you actually receive a Halloween card from someone? (I did  )

uh, not a traditional feather quill pen, but I have used the dip pen, and a modern fountain pen.

It's a fantastic activity. Good for clearing one's mind too. Kinda like a form of meditation.

Is there a cat sitting next to you staring at you expectantly cuz you haven't gone to bed yet?

Do you think that some nice people are wasted away by bad company

Your comments puzzle me most of the time. Let me give it a whirl anyhow. Do you mean that people who seem inherently nice and good can be negatively affected by otherwise ill behaving people, thus changing their basic way of being? Perhaps the bad devil on the shoulder thing? I suppose it would partially depend on their strength as a person and occasionally their "niceness" may very well not be as nice as they appear.

    Who knows?

Have you colored with crayons recently?

No, but I used to love it (the smell of them too).

Did you ever make candles out of leftover crayons?

(as a kid, SO fun. Messy but satisfying.)
