No. A dry cabin is a cabin in the woods with no water connected. That means no sink, toilet, shower etc. There are a lot of them in Alaska.

Have you ever stayed on a small yacht on the ocean for at least 3 days and nites?

Oy. Thank you for the clarification. I'm not a girlie-woman but require certain accoutrements. That'd not be my thing by choice!

And no, though if I weren't somewhat claustrophobic it sounds nice if in good weather and company (or alone).

Are you good at spending time just with yourself?
  • JogillJogill Posts: 4,549
Yep, mostly out of choice. A special someone i can spend unlimited time with but most other people including family drive me nuts after about a couple of days.

Do you enjoy laying in the sun reading a good book?

My kiddo does. Last year she won a gift certificate. She made her choices, but her choices were more than the gift certificate. She stood with tears rolling down her face, "But mom, I just CAN'T CHOOSE! I don't want them to think I'm thankless. I just love books TOO MUCH!" I still laugh. Yes, I made her choose and then when we did get to the counter, the certificate was for double what they said it was.

Crap. The question I was going to ask wasn't yes or no.

Have you been to a bookstore within the last week?

    Not at all.

PJfan, you may have your crock-pot on too high. The carrots will mush then. I ran mine on high for about 4 hours and the carrots still had just a touch of bite to them.

    Do you like cooked carrots?

Air fryers are all the rage here. They are to fry food with only a fraction of the oil that is normally used in a deep fryer when cooking fries, chicken, fish etc.

(may or may not be taking prophylactic measures)

Are Petty & Vedder together such a nice way to spend some time soaking it in?

I do. Intensity shifts and changes a bit depending upon the shows that I'm going to see. Right now I'm on Modest Mouse and Chris Cornell.

Do you have any show(s) coming up soon?
