Yes, IS must be stopped somehow. The roots to the problems must be stopped but I don't know how.

Do you feel good when you're on the way to your work ?
  • JogillJogill Posts: 4,549
Yeah I guess. More so when it's warmer. It's harder in winter to want to get out of a warm bed, wash your hair, get dressed and drive 45 mins in traffic. I do like work though, as I drive there there's always a sense of getting things accomplished during the day.

Do you have a person at work that you can be good friends with?

Ye,s I do. Love Toni. She's now a manager but also a concert buddy of mine. Even my husband loves her!

Is today going to be a fantastic day? =)

Oh god no! Trying to sell my house so I can downsize to an apartment after 18 years of looking after flowers, lawns etc in my house.

Do you enjoy going to the beach?

don't know, never been to one. I go to the beach a lot but only for surfing and swimming in the daytime.

Do you enjoy summer or the winter months more?

I enjoy each season separately and am glad to have each and every one.

Are there any significant memorials going on where you live for September 11?

Do you have today off work?

Don't I wish. But getting Monday off.

Would you ever purchase artwork by the guy who shoots paint out of his ass (not to mention the other person who goes the eye route)?

Wonder if I should've asked if the concept itself is worthy of "umm...the fuck?"
  • JogillJogill Posts: 4,549
No. I think both seem a little out there!

Do you think axe throwing is a sport?

    Perhaps.

How does one shoot paint from their ass? (As an artist, I've seen a lot and that's not one of them.)

I don't know the logistics of the shots but read about it awhile back.

Have you heard about the artist who sold a can of his supposed poop, for a rather large amount?
  • Nope and I was good with that.

Is the baffling part not that people "make art" these ways but that somebody buys it?

Shock art. -- From your home country: http://globalnews.ca/news/2215160/period-art-show-aims-to-shock-open-up-dialogue-about-menstruation/

I am an artist. I work at a fine craft gallery. I went to art school for 7 years. Probably what would shock most wouldn't shock me quite as much. One of my very good friends is a raunch culture performance artist. She has been kicked out of several shows, including shows on feminism, for her pieces. She just lost out on a performance for an Edgar Allan Poe show because her "persona" wasn't PG-13 enough for a 21 + crowd. Who knows?

So, please! Buy art! Support your local gallery!

Do you have a local art gallery that you like to visit?

No. I am very active but don't like the environment of gyms. I walk about every second day when working a lot, hike and snowboard when on holidays.

    Do you like the outdoors?

When you were a kid did you have dreams of what you wanted as an adult, like married, kids, etc or famous artist or in a band or travel the world without any ties?

    half yes

do you realize that everyone you know someday will die?
  • hedonisthedonist Posts: 24,524
Yes, and while it sucks, death is firmly entrenched in life.

I try not to focus on it too often (though my mind does venture there on occasion, sometimes quite darkly).

On the lighter side, do you know anyone who is celebrating two years of marriage today?

  • I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Jedi Hedo, congrats by the way.

Did you attend a wedding over the summer?

No, we tend to get out of attending weddings.

Are some social situations just too much at times?

    Yes.

When you were a kid, did you jump in puddles just for the hell of it?
