    My favorite season. Yes!

Do you love walking through crunchy leaves?

    Yes

Do you love raking up said leaves?

    Hiya, Hobbes :)

It's been a good 40 years (jesus!) but I loved doing that with my dad. It was fun and my favorite time of year. And of course, Duchess, our adopted black-lab mix, HAD to hurl herself into the pile.

    Missed and beloved times!

Funny that I'm listening to live Red Mosquito at the moment.

Do you wish you had known then what you know now?

Are you have people over tonight? We are hosting the second party of the weekend at our house tonight; the house hasn't been this busy in years!

I think so (but I don't think she herself was).

Has this been some kind of awesome musical day so far?

(currently listening to live Zep doing Hot Dog =) )

No, but the day isn't over.

Should Hedonist be the video dj for the PJ forum?

I think some of my musical choices would not agree with many in this place :peace:
(not to mention my husband - gotta listen to Joni and Bruce and a few others when he's not home)

    Do you like classical music?

No - as in I'm not a Costco member!

Anyone else watching the Pro Football HOF on ESPN?

Tim Brown brought me to tears, big time.

Now on Junior Seau...cue the waterworks again!

I think Hedo is high again... :shhh: which is perfectly fine with me.

Do you like Penn and teller?

I certainly was high, but in re-reading it still makes sense! Then again, did a wake and bake this morning so what do I know =) (two edits later - sheesh)

It really was a moving speech by Brown. And thank you for the link, SD!

RK, I love Penn and Teller - especially Penn.

Did you know that because magicians steal others' tricks, Teller put a copyright on one of his, and won a lawsuit over it?

    No.

    (and hiya, Hedo  )

Have you ever heard Teller talk? If not, there's a doc he's on talking about magic, of course.
  • oftenreadingoftenreading Posts: 12,845
No, have actually not seen them before.

Would you prefer to see a magic show rather than a comedy show?

Depends on how good the magician is...I've seen more bad comedians than magicians.

    Do you like fudge pops?

No - when my dad worked for City of Hope, there were many functions at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Was great experiencing it as a kid but I'll take (good) comedy over that now.

(gonna check out that doc, Hobbes)

Do you remember when you had to trade magic for fact?

No (wish we had a yard for many reasons). But it was a fairly productive day!

Have you ever seen the mindfuck of a film known as Jacob's Ladder?
