I think a person can love, and that there other emotions that may be confused with hate such as anger or jealousy. My hope that if there is love, it will over ride any perceived hate.

Have you ridden on a carousel lately?

No, not since I was a kid. But I loved it before realizing the horses looked a bit scary.

Do you like the Hollies' song Carousel?

    Nope, but soon!

Do you eat those skinny, fatty, over-priced but surprisingly delicious cups of fries at fairs?

Don't know the song. Still want to know about the fries. See question above, please.

    Well hello again, same-time sister!

And no, I haven't been to a fair in years.

Have you ever been to a Renaissance fair?
  • hedonisthedonist Posts: 24,524
Ha. We overlap in lovely ways.

I'm a sucker for skinny fries.

I currently have no question =)

    Backatcha, SD!

    (yes)

For all of the "progress laced with ramifications" side of technology, does it not make you smile to connect with people only through this medium?

    Amazing.

I don't think you have that option now.

Hypothetically, do you think it is a good idea to have 10 sixteen year old girls in your house for a birthday party/sleep over (as I listen to the shrieks and giggles)

    Well, yes. Kid, singular.

Do you think they will get the tents up in the pitch dark of the backyard, now that they have watched videos too long?

Only if the are the "unfold and pops-upp by itself' kind....

Are you at least glad you won't be hearing giggles all night long? Provided you get those tents up...

The tents are their problem. Sixteen years old, learning experience and all that. I suspect we'll hear the giggles anyway, plus the music.

Did you get more than 4.5 hours of sleep last night?
