    East coast back! (I was tired! I will not apologize for ditching you guys for some much needed sleep.)

    Yesterday I just went and activated the new phone that we just bought. Finally bit the bullet and bought a smartphone. Bought an Amazon Fire Phone. Hand keyed all contacts in last night and this morning because my phone was so old that the information couldn't be transferred easily. My old phone wasn't a flip. It was an AT&T generic version of a Blackberry. We just had a phone number put onto that one for my daughter. May have been fully immersed in a near boiling pot of water while camping, but it got dried out and works just fine.

    Have you dropped your smartphone and broken the screen?

    No but my kids have done it to quite a few. Thank god for work phones and friends in IT to get them to replace them without any questions.

    Do you miss the days when we were all free to go somewhere without interruptions before cell phones?
