If anyone happens to see a Phish, Grateful Dead, or Whiplash Soundtrack, if you wouldn't mind picking one up for me, that'd be great! The two record stores near me were all out of stock :(

If anyone can grab that John Butler "Oceans 7in for me, I'd appreciate it

It's not a 7". I also was looking for it and it's in a 12" LP packaging. Very cool by the by and it was the last one at the second store I hit up. My haul...

    Citizen Dick
    Rich Robinson
    Jackie Greene
    Cypress Hill
    Foo Fighters
    Robert Plant
    John Butler Trio
    Gov't Mule
    Willie Nelson
    White Stripes
    Noel Gallagher
    CRB cd

Not bad for 3 trips in two different stores.

I hit 2 stores before opening (one opened at 9 and one at 10 so I could do both) and both here in Phoenix each only got 1 or 2 citizen dicks so I got shut out. I can't complain as I'm sure something will come around at some point:

    Haul:
    PJ Mystery Vinyl Box
    Mastodon
    Slayer
    Black Keys
    White Stripes
    The Doors

I couldn't find the Stone Sour either which was high up on the list.

    RSD
    Citizen Dick 7"
    Rich Robinson - I Remember 7"
The Kinks - You Really Got Me 7"
    Metallica - Tape

Also picked up some regular Vinyl
Rockabye Baby! - Lullaby Renditions of Pearl Jam (old RSD) LP
Ramones - Road to Ruin LP
GNR - Use Your Illusions 1&2
Neil Young - Live Rust (used)
Ray Stevens - Greatest Hits (used); yes, a bit eclectic here :)

I was temped by Sun Records Vol 2 - but budget minded, so I put it back; another time maybe if still there.
There was one Phish set remaining - but not my cup of tea and at 175, I couldn't sock it away for trade bait.
I left message to see about Bob Dylan's Basement Tapes as I didn't see it and forgot to ask at checkout. Fingers crossed that I get a call back.
Store owner is a 10C member - we chatted PJ a bit; hope to catch him some other time when not as busy.

I didn't buy too much as I stayed online to buy the mystery pj vinyl.

    I bought:

    Johnny Cash
    Citizen Dick
Social Distortion (They didn't actually have the one I saw listed on the RSD site but I wanted it so I bought the MOV version).

Still looking for the Foo Fighters. The store didn't get many. Unless I lined up at 5 or 6am I probably wouldn't have got one.

I thought about picking one up, but made a game time decision not to. I have a feeling my local shop is going to have a couple left over. Let us know what you think of it once you crack it open and give it a spin.

Completely forgot about Citizen Dick. I raced to the record store after doing the PJ Mystery vinyl sale thing, and forgot my list. I didn't sleep last night and I was a little agitated from the PJ sale lol...

    Got the following:

    White Stripes
    Paul McCartney
    Elvis Presley
    Foo Fighters
Twenty One Pilots (wanted that Ohio shaped vinyl)
    Father John Misty
    Metallica cassette

Turned out to be a good day for me. My girlfriend did get through for the PJ vinyl too, so hopefully a Benny is heading our way :)

We got lucky with our local record store. We went there at 4am. Waited about an hour when the record store owner showed up unexpectedly. He gave us all numbers and told us to come back at 10am. So I was able to try for the PJ thing from home, then race over to the record store where I was 5th in line. I almost felt guilty showing up there and jumping ahead of 50+ people with so little effort on my part.
