Was able to snag a PJ Mystery Vinyl...

Then got in line at Zia Records in Tucson at 6:45 this morning (store opened at 9), three people ahead of me, got:

White Stripes: Get Behind Me Satan
Cold War Kids: Five Quick Cuts
    Citizen Dick 7"
Elvis 10" (got one for myself and gave my buddy the $20 to buy another that I can give to my dad for his bday this week)

Also picked up a couple non-RSD discs to add to the collection:
Oasis: (What's The Story) Morning Glory reissue
The Grass Roots: Their 16 Greatest Hits ($2!)

was going to pick up the Ryan Adams 7", but then saw the tiny note on it that both tracks are from the upcoming reissue of Heartbreaker, so I decided to just wait for that.

All in all a successful RSD!

    shugo tokumaru - l.s.t.
    brenton wood - oogum boogum
    trey anastasio band 7"
n.w.a. - straight outta compton cassette
    mystery 7"

    used bin finds:
    prince - partyman 12"
ice cube - bop gun 12"
    nilsson - sandman

and i can't forget this great find, a free cassette:

My man got home from a 10-hour work day and promptly took me to a record store. Where ... I promptly scored Citizen Dick, which happened to materialize after the guy at the counter told me they were all gone.
Also got Garbage, Gregg Allman picture disc and Gov't Mule covering the Rolling Stones.
Didn't get the Foos or Hendrix, but so thrilled to have found my No. 1 priority.

I may have to try and go back and pick up Sly or The Boss, but I have spent so much already and the Ryan Adams Carnegie Hall Set comes out Tuesday.

Such a nice follow up purchase for RSD

I passed this year too. Nothing looked that great apart from the new Built To Spill album, but that's going to be available year round.

I didn't have much money this go around, but picked up Clutch "From Beale St. to Oblivion" at the local store and got Eyedea and Abilities "E&A" on Rhymesayer's website today, but the best part was parking next to Virginia plates "LOVEPJ." Wish I could've met whoever that is!
