If you haven't checked yet, you can find $100 seats still, and can even get the full seat map to pick seats.

I have got an extra set too. Same reason. Face value. Would sell either of the sets. 700 range and a 500 range. Only need 1 set.

There are still dozens of seats in all price ranges available - there's a great 360 seat map on the Rosemont site that lets you see the view - some of the seats that say obstructed view for $100 look pretty good - http://www.rosemont.com/theatre/events/360-view/

They put the map back up on TM website, and there are still $100, $250, and higher seats left.

Booked the super 8 and airfare from Philly for 225. And I love Denny's. :)

    Seriously
Its just a Super 8 but its a half mile or so from the venue. Why pay $150?
    $40 is a bargain.
It's for one night, I don't need luxury accommodations for one night. :) After paying for $500 ticket, I'm thrilled with keeping my other costs down.

Don't come closer or I'll have to go

Anyone having luck adding any of the cheap seats that show up on the map? I think theyre all held in carts currently.

Is this the Super 8 in River Grove? Or the airport?

I was talking Motel 6 on river and Lawrence in Schiller Park.

That motel 8, in river grove, is a mile down the road.

If anyone is having second thoughts or is unable to make it to the show. I'm looking for two tickets as I was flying across the country and missed the presale
  • Ugh, just looked at the map to help people find hotels and remembered that they closed Irving Park Rd. by O'Hare. Now I'll have to detour north or take 294 which all kind of sucks on a Thursday rush hour.

Sorry 1st world problem here. No real griping out of me. Just want to get there and be in Rosemont for the before and after...going to be a great time in and around the venue.

You mean the Denny's isn't right outside? Bummer. :)

What's the public transportation like in the area? I'd like to get a train into the city on Friday and hit the Cubs game. I've always wanted to go to Wrigley. Then I would be heading to airport from Wrigley. I assume that should be easily done by public transportation, correct?

Don't come closer or I'll have to go

    No problem.
There is a train you can jump on within a mile from your hotel. And on the way back there is a train that takes you right in to the airport.

Anyone try parking at the MB Financial Park (Rosemont Entertainment/Outlet mail) for the Rosemont Theater? I hate getting stuck in parking lots after the show.

I was wondering about that myself, I wonder if the front rows of the back center sections have to deal with people walking in front of them on that walkway

It has to do with the rails I'm sure. Not an obstruction, I don't believe. I saw Adam Sandler at the Rosemont Theater in 96 and that was the last time I was there. HA

I've never bought for a charity show before. Does anyone know if you can write it off partially for tax purposes? (Yes, I know a fan club forum is not the place to solicit tax advice, but I figured I would ask here since it pertains to this show!)

The amount you can deduct should be printed on your ticket.
    It's not.
    You've already got your ticket?

You should start a new thread and tell everyone how it's your right as a customer to be able to purchase the tickets, how they don't care about their customers, how no other company has these issues with their site and demand a response instantly.

That's how things are done here ;)

I've noticed that's how things are done but I'll choose to go against the grain.

I know. When I said it's printed on the ticket I was thinking of hard tickets from the box office. The tickets I've gotten from benefits have shown the amount of the contribution.

    Um...

'round these parts, it's called "ag'in the grain!"

I feel like Steve Martin's character in Parenthood at his kid's birthday party.
