How big of a venue is the Rosemont? I think I found a ticket in the last row of section 106 in the far corner of the venue. Is it worth the $250?

I grabbed the seat in section 106 and then immediately found a different one in section 211 so I now have a spare ticket in anyone needs one. Face value of course.

Still can pull 2-3, but at $750 each. Would have bit on those an hour ago, but now worried I couldn't sell the $500 ones I grabbed.

Chart I posted on page 2 shows capacity of floor and balcony, plus there's 20 or so seats in the orchestra pit. A little over 4200 seats.

I've never bought for a charity show before. Does anyone know if you can write it off partially for tax purposes? (Yes, I know a fan club forum is not the place to solicit tax advice, but I figured I would ask here since it pertains to this show!)

The amount you can deduct should be printed on your ticket.

For those of you coming in, there are numerous hotels literally within a block or two walk in Roseomont and you are 5 minutes from O'Hare. If you have any questions feel free to let me know.

As of now i plan on flying in to O'Hare.

What Hotel/s do you suggest that are within a SHORT walking distance?

Appreciate any info you can give.

We'll be driving, so just picked a cheap hotel 15 min from the venue to rest our heads, as we will be heading back home the very next day. I think we're staying at Howard Johnson's.

Can pull top 3 price levels easily now, 2, 3 or 4 tickets. The bottom 2, not so much.

A couple of days ago I checked (just for curiosity...) and there wasn't any room in all of those hotels

    Hotel? Save yourself some money
Go to the Super 8 on River Road and Lawrence.
    $40
And walk 40 feet and have breakfast at Denny's.

Within a mile from the venue.

    Seriously
Its just a Super 8 but its a half mile or so from the venue. Why pay $150?
    $40 is a bargain.

If you want to save money you might want to check out hotels further away along the blue line, it's walkable to the theater from the Rosemont stop.

Hah. I have not mentioned it to my boss yet, Su May! Given I just got back from second vacation in under 3 weeks, she may not be thrilled, but I already have my tix and flight.

you paid to get in, you're free to leave.

The O'hare one? It's a couple miles away. Short cab ride.

People can also check for hotels in Des Plaines. Or anywhere down River Rd. It's a convention center area with a casino down the street. There are plenty of hotels.

I'm staying at the Loew's, Google maps says .2 miles. Booked last Tuesday, there were plenty of rooms then.

Coming from Iowa City if anyone needs a ride.

So it appears my friend and I each managed to score tickets at the $500-per level. Two dudes, four seats, zero communication. Oops.

If anyone is looking for a pair (or a couple people looking for singles) after the general sale, hit me up.
