I had the whole band sign an 8x10 photo back in 98 while I was out in la. Anybody know an approx value for this? I m thinking of let this one go since I m not really into rage as much as I used to be. Thanks!

They are absolutely incredible live! I got my ass seriously kicked the first time I saw them play at rose land in 96. They came out to know your enemy. Wow!

Seen them over 10 times and EVERYTIME I tell myself, no way can anythibg come from the stage like that. And next show, I get my ass kicked again. These guys were the BEST. Zach is the greatest MC ever. You felt his words. Everyone of them were unique. Fucken love rage.

A band that every album seemed to get angrier as the years went on. We needed them for the past 16 years. Fucken bullshit.

Paul I remember this huge pit opened up around me. In a matter of seconds a few different sets of doc martens gave me a bloody nose, lip and black and blues everywhere. Ah to be 18 again....good times.

Was that with Jesus lizard? If so great show, the backdrop was the altered flag (upside down I think) if I'm not mistaken, as an aside I love roseland, I've seem so many shows there, used to love the people who sold buttons in the basement by coatcheck.

Did anyone happen to catch them in 97 with wu tang. Missing that was tough

    Peace and love

Omg hahahaha, downstairs button sellers at roseland. Roseland on the left and letterman studios on the right. Place is gonna be missed for sure. And I was at those 3 shows in the 90's as well. Talk about energy, wow

Edit-correct me if I'm wrong but I believe tix to that show were $15 cuz I remember using a second hand market and the guy was charging $115 a ticket and I laughed at him. God, how many of us would pay $115 now to see rage?

Yeah it was with Jesus lizard. I think they played three or four nights at rose land that fall and tickets were incredibly cheap! I think that show was the best show I ever saw; it even tops my favorite pj show.
Then the following year I saw rage when they were trying to save mumia....either philly or NYC, I can t remember. That show was just ok, way too political.

  • What the what?!?! Roseland is gone?!?! I moved to Montreal about ten years ago.....I'm so out if the loop. My grandparents used to go dancing at the old ballroom there. I've seen more shows there than I can count. Holy cow

Funny to read the rage show the next year was too "political".

    :-0
  • Oh I actually won those tickets on the radio.....but yeah shows then were do affordable, I would buy tickets to just about any decent show, I had a stack of unused tickets at one point.

    Good times

Lol I got yA. Rage was the ultimate political band. But the next year was way too much mumia for me

What happened to roseland? I loved that place!

If you decide to part with the signed photo, would you consider any trades for it?
  • mcgruff10mcgruff10 New Jersey Posts: 28,706
Yeah maybe. But so far I have no clue what it s worth!

I have all four of their signatures on the cover of The Battle of Los Angeles. I met them at Virgin Records in times square (RIP) the day the record was released when I was 13 years old. They played a record release show that night too and I was like ten people from the stage.

Not much has sold on ebay in last few months, that usually says something about the demand. The highest selling autographed item from RATM was an signed SPIN from 1996 with PSA/DNA certificate and that sold for $260. Fully signed CDs went from $60 to 150. Another autograph seller has a signed poster up for 150.

I would guess you could get 100-150 for your picture, depending on the day, and if somebody wanted to buy it.

Signed photos go for about 50 to 100 (on average- full band)

I have a rare promotional RATM poster from their 2011 show - LA RISING
It's huge. Was used to promote the Show. They posted many of these thick posters around Los Angeles. Poster is in good shape

Love Rage, only saw them once, on the rail directly in front of Tom, and it was definately in my top 3 shows ever. I think them and PJ are the only bands id be willing to spend over $100 a ticket for at this point. Wish they would come back...

Nothing like rage. It's more hip hop. I have the album somewhere. I think it's zach with a drummer kind of like the black keys but hip hop. Shit, last time I heard it was back in 2010.

Here's a video, sort of a mix of rage and black keys
