    I'm getting in Friday morning. How's everyone getting to their hotel from airport? Staying at Hotel Astor in La Reforma area. Are cameras allowed? I'm pretty sure I saw no cameras on tickets.

    Not sure about cameras. As usual I'm sure they are really only looking out for "professional" cameras. My friend who lives in Mexico City says to look for the "Taxis Excellencia" booth and use them.

    Definitely not a loser! My routine is "hey guys wanna go to _______ show?" No?? Ok see ya later lol. They sure didn't have the mountains of Bogota out their windows when they woke up today :). I will feel like the man tho when they come back to S Florida and I have 20 friends there. On to Mexico tomorrow!!

    We are here now. When you come to the airport do not use Taxis Excellencias. We used the and waited half hour for a can while people who used Yellow Cab got cabs in minutes.

    I'm at the Riazor now flying solo on this trip. Walked down to palacios de la deportes and got my ticket. Wasn't a bad walk. One direction is playing there tonight ... Who else is going!?

    Anyone up for finding good food and drinks?

    By the way I used uber twice today and the fare was around MEX$100 from riazor to downtown (museum area) in case anyone was looking to compare it to taxis. I know I'm from New York and everything is expensive there but being able to spend 35 minutes in a car and pay that price is a dream to me.

    That is pretty good. I didn't even think about Uber. We were in the cab for about the same amount of time and paid 215 pesos. Did you just use the same Uber app you use in the States?

    Same Uber app. Had a car at my feet in 5 minutes both times. I did what you did at the airport and paid 195.

    That's good to hear, thx for the info. Where was the will call exactly? Easy to spot? Same.one on day of show do you think?

    Ok to walk to the show from the Riazor do you think or has anybody worked out a time and place (lobby?) to meet and get taxi/shuttle?

    I think the consensus is do not walk to venue from Riazor. Sounds like a lot of Jammers will be there so should be easy to share a ride. In 2011 I took a cab and traffic was so bad I got out a mile early and walked and it was very sketchy. I was with my friend who is Mexican and lives in Mexico City and even he was a little on edge.

    How are people going with ticket pick ups? Does anyone know roughly what the price of merch such as tees, hoodies, poster will be in Peso? Also is there likely to be merch stands outside the venue? Thanks

    For sure there will be a lot of merch stands outside the venue (unofficial items) And I will say the price rate will be between 100 and 200 pesos (about 6-12 USD). if you can find a mexican buddy to help you with the purchase would be great, I'm pretty sure you will get a better price. I don't why but when they identify a foreing buyer they rise the price, hate that!
