    Either way they will not match the drapes in the place. I'm thinking strawberry blonde for the drapes and full red for the carpets. Or red mahogany for the hardwood floors. I guess it depends on mess clean up. Hardwood allows for easier cleanup but sometimes a small patch of carpet can be pleasing to the eyes.
