    Just a quick rant. I'm offended by the members who think it's ok to make a profit on anything Pearl Jam because they hit the "buy" button before others. The "hey, I need $400...let me head to Lost Dogs and sell what the store said "not for re-sale" and it's all good. But others sense of humor as to fit into a tiny box to not offend others. I mean, the number of posts that made me wince and say "oh boy" are few. Very few. It's not like we're here telling everyone to F off.

    let me tell you a little story, delusional2TheMax.....we have an amphitheater here that does nothing but GA shows....lawn seating.....I've seen some great shows there, but that's not my point.

    my point is this.....people regularly arrive 12 hours before a show to get in line....they used to camp overnight but that's no longer allowed. there is one guy who ALWAYS seems to be at the front of the line.....old guy with a rumpled bucket hat and Velcro closure sneakers.....but, again, I digress.

    one thing that happens at the ol' amphitheater that leads to much ill will, consternation, icy stares and what have you is when someone places a few lawn chairs in line and then leaves until later in the day....at which point they return, thinking their empty lawn chairs have "saved" their place(s) in line.....people will often cry to security but security is worthless and the empty chair people usually have their way......the thing is, tho, getting their way doesn't make it right....or righteous.

    so, while I feel bad that you lost your turtle, I also feel you lost your place in line.....I'll see what security has to say and maybe they'll side with you when they hear your tale of woe.....but, rest assured, there will be pissed off people behind you. Sorry if I come off as an elitist.

    Its hard to describe what I'm feeling right now, abandonment maybe? And just when I was ready to re-start the tour by finishing my Motown/Funk pre-set and creating the set lists for the remainder pre-sets, main act and multiple encores. With dedications and front to back and back to fronts thrown in. But, seeing how I took "The List" for $1,000.00, you and everyone else know whose name is at the top of it. Empty lawn chair be damned!
