Ha... all this over a picture of a tractor.

I haven't even seen the print. I'm just glad none of my shows had posters in high demand. I've often wondered.......why don't people just print one themselves if it's only available on auction sites? how high res do you need for it to look good?

It would be just best if people could post their stuff and not have critics pop into threads, positive or negative, to give their 2 cents when they are not involved in either selling or buying the goods. One guy lists his shit for $210 and gets shit on for some reason, and another person lists for $205 and gets his balls licked like he is the king of the Lost Dogs forum.

If you aren't involved in the transaction you really have no business responding in the thread. Nobody but the buyer and the seller can determine what is a good price. Nobody but the buyer and the seller have stakes in a trade or sale, so vouching for another person shouldn't happen either unless you are willing to take part in the stake if things go shitty. People are capable of making decisions on their own.
    I totally agree..

I have a few that like to chim in on my pj vinyl sale post..

People can say whatever they want and hide behind their computers while they do it. That's how things are now, so deal with it. I own 2 restaurants and put my heart and soul into them- do you think I'm happy when some assfuck posts a yelp review that is total bullshit? Of course not- but it's his or her right. If you're selling vinyl for a profit like you are in your ridiculous vinyl garage sale over there, and getting callus over the 3% paypal charge added to sellers therefore making people use money orders instead to buy your overpriced crap so god forbid you don't lose a dime in your transaction it's obvious you're trying to make a profit- and people have a right to call you out on it.

This is an exchange forum here in LD. Ebay is a sellers game for profit. If you want to make money, go to ebay and sell. Don't be trying to rip off people in LD- it just shows you're a douche and not a fan.
I'm guessing from your post that the food in your restaurants is sold at cost?

Nope. Usually about 3x the cost. Cogs in a brick/mortar restaurant include labor, utilities, fixed and variable costs and market fluctuation is included as well.

"market fluctuation" sounds a lot like "ripping people off". You don't complain when people choose to eat in your restaurant, even though you are "ripping them off".

Lol. This isn't worth a response.

As per earlier posts I too would never sell on here because of the responses. I just can't understand if people don't like the price they just don't buy and move on.

People will ultimately miss out as a result.

This isn't an exchange forum ... It's a fan trading forum that allows the sale at reasonable prices. I would consider a market price to be considered reasonable.

And to suggest a member isn't a fan because they don't pass items on at cost is frankly ridiculous. further adding he is a douche because you don't approve of his price is just pitifully childish.

Ripping people off ?? Where? How?

I personally couldn't care less if someone doesn't like my sale. If I posted something for sale and people started complaining about the price my reaction would be, "Oh well. Next." It definitely wouldn't disuade from selling here, because for everyone one person who whines there are 20 people who don't.

Well, I figured I'd share this story. There's a lady in the club (SD), who went ABOVE AND BEYOND anything anyone can expect and hooked me up with a pair of retro infrared jordan 6's, yes they're sneakers. She went to the mall, grabbed me a tix, won me a raffle and made this 39 year old fucken feel like a 16 year old in high school kid again. And you know what, she did it for COST. That shits UNREAL. So there are kind souls in here who look out for each other or just LIKE TO do kind shit. And Susan is one who LIKES to do kind shit.

I agree, but why should you need to be thick skinned to list something?

My point from before; the people who do all the whining will ironically make less and less stuff available here, ruining it for everyone when they think they're helping.

I'm ripping people off?! How did I become the spotlight here anyway? You say that I rip people off at my restaurants? Cool.... Now prove it. You know nothing about me or my restaurants, so don't challenge me. You know nothing about ownership and managing 100's of employees, nor do you know about the legal process and or permit process of a business, taxes, utility costs and the rest that goes with it.

I agree with several people on here- I shouldn't have said anyone was a douche or not a fan because they were selling items at high costs. True dat. How you choose to make your money is your choice. But I will stand by the point I made about selling on LD.... If you sell or are trying to sell something on here for a profit, you are asking for people to talk shit about it, and they are justified in saying whatever they choose to. Do you as the seller have to care what they say? Again, as I said before, no, of course not.

But if you want to verbally challenge me and claim that my personal business and livelihood depends on me ripping off my customers I challenge you to provide proof of such a bold lie. Market fluctuation happens constantly in the restaurant business, yet I change prices in my business 2x per year.

I challenge you to back up your statement of how market fluctuation is ripping people off. Please cite a source I can read where it will prove to me that I am ripping people off by extending the prices and charges I endure over the counter to my customers. In this world of accusations, only those backed up with citations and evidence hold their own. If you can't substantiate your ridiculous statement, I'll be convinced you are a liar.

It's no big deal, dude- just cite it.

They are your words, so I don't know what you could even respond with.

    Rip off.

    Still waiting.

And nah, I haven't lost my mind. Just love calling out loud mouths who can't back up their statements.

Kind of ironic that you showed up in this thread defending your right to say whatever you want about people but the moment the tables were turned you lose your mind.
People can always say whatever they want. That's life. If they can't provide evidence, they're full of shit. That's life too.

I guess it would be nice to foster a community where people can mind their own business and not interfere with a person trying to sell their shit.

Threads like this make me not even want to be a part of this place! Mabye the mods need to switch the lost dogs forum so the op is the only person who can post on the thread and nobody else. Then that would eliminate this.....
