Just go off the grid and cancel your health insurance. You won't get penalized if your income is low enough OR if your health plan costs 8% or more of your total income. (and guess what....it's going to be hard to find a health plan that is less than 8% of your income unless you are making $150K or more...see how that works?)

    Problem solved.

    Thanks for your help.
I would like to offer you compensation in exchange for your life coaching skills.
Can I get you on retainer, and can you send me your paypal donation or bitcoin wallet link?

I agree with you about all of this, except for the last sentence. Greed, a lack of personal accountability, in addition to basic neglect of the welfare of our fellow humans and our home are what keep us below animals. Financial problems doesn't mean it's a human right.
  • Last-12-ExitLast-12-Exit Posts: 8,661
The problem here is the government forcing people to have it. The government should not be mandating health insurance. The same people telling us that we have to have health insurance are the same people that can't fix the gun problem in this country.

The saddest part is that people think that it is more important to have an arsenal in their basements rather than obtain affordable insurance.

Is it really that hard to keep your finances in order?... I mean shit dude.. You have time to come on here and bitch about it. Would you be upset if wealthy people were getting subsidies because they didn't have to prove their income?

You're going to pop a blood vessel... chill the F out if you're not going to have health care.

If You're asking me is it really that hard for me to prove my current years income for three separate jobs, the answer is yes. It really is that fucking hard.
Really?!? So it's pain in but to pull together some numbers and doesn't offset you becoming seriously ill and being in debt for the rest of your freakin life???

Like your attitude, much needed on board so hope you keep posting. Really enjoyed your thoughts on market.

We are still paying for it. Just because Obama is forcing people to get insurance under the threat of penalty doesn't mean people are getting it.

Another problem is the cost of health care. What these doctors and hospitals charge for basic check ups and procedures are insane.

I go to the doctor now to get a script for some allergy meds today and pay $20. If I go in January, I'll pay $97. That's just so my doctor can write the script. Nothing else is done. That is friggin nuts.

Free healthcare is NOT a human right. Absurd.

    it is not free....
it is paid for by taxes
for all the stupid shit my taxes go to-
I would rather it go to this than to some fucking bombs or missiles.
fk the poor let's spread some freedom.

The problem here is the government forcing people to have it. The government should not be mandating health insurance. The same people telling us that we have to have health insurance are the same people that can't fix the gun problem in this country.

but I'm paying for others emergency room visits and be great if the uninsured would pick up their share.

We should have affordable healthcare. Feel we should spend the resources.

Hope AHC is refined rather than scrapped.
We are still paying for it. Just because Obama is forcing people to get insurance under the threat of penalty doesn't mean people are getting it.

Another problem is the cost of health care. What these doctors and hospitals charge for basic check ups and procedures are insane.
Do you not do any research before you post this stuff? Look up the % of uninsured now....then compare it to two years ago.

And we agree that costs are insane....isn't it better to have MORE people insured and contributing toward those costs? You are kind of writing your own dissent

The saddest part is that people think that it is more important to have an arsenal in their basements rather than obtain affordable insurance.

They COULD fix the gun problem. YOU won't elect the people that can fix it.

Do you know my voting record over the past 10 years?

Wow. I was not aware that 100% of the US population has healthcare since 2010. Do you research this? Because I know for a fact that is not the case.

I never said it was 100%....I said that the ACA certainly put more people on the insurance rolls. That's a fact. You suggested that "paying a penalty won't force people to get insurance". I don't necessarily believe that the penalty is what is doing it but the % of increase is definitely verifiable.

No, but the assumption was made that I don't research my posts after I said that everybody would not get insurance even after Obamas threat of penalty.

I'm sure gern appreciates you sticking up for him.
