    Awesome show last night!!!
    Pretty much 2.5hrs straight thru...
Great selection of songs - couple of very cool covers (nothing compares to you had a few people scratching their heads but I thought it sounded brilliant).
3 TOTD songs but only Rusty Cage from BMF.
Blow up the outside world was incredible
The Cello on a few songs sounded great!!!

Dave from Gang Of Youths as support was really cool - I highly recommend getting in early to check him out.

    Have fun everyone!!!

Thanks for review I can't wait to see Chris, 10 days seems a while away!!!

CC was amazing - came on stage picked up a guitar and played for near on 3 hours.

A memorable show. - he had the roof come down near him, even the Palais theatre could not contain his immense vocal range.

Another memory cemented into the cortex, thanks CC.

Yes he was and a big surprise. Could not get a straight answer from anyone as to whether there was going to be a support act for Cornell so assumed there wasn't. Went to my seats up in the stalls and it was hey who is this dude? Anyway he was great.

I saw CC on Saturday night for his last Australian show, he was absolutely amazing. Blow up the outside world was incredible, the highlight of the show for me. 6-7 songs were played off Higher Truth, all performed so well, he introduced a piano for this first time into Before we Disappear, it was so beautiful, as we're all the songs from Higher Truth. Other highlights were Hunger Strike, Rusty Cage, Say Hello to Heaven and Bee Gees To Love Someone, toi many highlights actually the whole show was awesome!

I saw Cornell's first show in Brisbane on November 30. So grateful that he came to our country twice in one year.

They only come to Australia after there is a new album out and I haven't heard anything about a new album coming any time soon.

Hola. I'm late to the party but Cornell in Wellington was amazing. I took my friend to her first ever concert and now she can't listen to music because his in person epic voice has left all recordings wanting.

    Pearl Jam? Anybody?

Everyone who met her knew she was one of the good ones. So kind, supportive and encouraging. And funny. My thoughts and love to all of you who are feeling this. And especially to her boys.

Random question here. I'd searched in Lost Dogs but I cannot find any reference to this backpack. Does anyone have one? Seen one? Know anything about it at all?

    image

In case you can't see it in the pic, under the 10c logo it says "PJ AUS/NZ 2009"

Nope but one of the vinyl singles from volcom had some New Zealand 2009 connection... the song was recorded at the Auckland show...Unthought known. And amongst the waves. Maybe they sold those at the same time?
