That's awful. When we had kids, we didn't see a movie in the theatre for about 2 years. There needs to be an announcement on the screen about turning babies off along with the cell phones.
    Alright, alright, alright!

New Spiderman has been cast. Tom Holland. Not familiar, but can't complain about most of the casting decisions so far. In Marvel we trust.

Finished it today. I thought it was very solid. Better than the 2003 film from what I remember. Only thing i really remember from that movie was Bullseye. I barely remember Ben Affleck as Daredevil.

Please forget that version of Bullseye, I'm not one of those people that gets mad every time they change something from the comics but Bullseye is one of my absolute favorites and that version was down right horrible. The only thing that's worse than that version of Bullseye is the Spider-Man 3 version of Venom which is on a level of its own.

That was a huge problem with Origins: Wolverine. Why oh why did they stuff it full of characters, especially ones who shouldn't have been there....sigh.

Yeah, I have thought the Wolverine solo movies have been OK. As I mentioned before, I really want to see a darker version of Wolverine, but probably won't happen because of his marketability to kids. I would have to go back through my old comics, but I remember some very dark story lines. The Gehenna Stone Affair, amongst others, pops into my head.

Wolverine is a dark character to a large degree, I al

Deadpool officially has an R rating. Finally! Its about time a studio took a risk with some of the darker comic book characters.

I'm really excited about the 'Deadpool' Movie being R. Its the only way.

A pirated Trailer from Comic Con is/was on YouTube, (Movie looks fantastic.)

Saw Ant-Man yesterday, great movie overall, probably rank it somewhere around the 5 spot in terms of MCU movies. Wish it was doing a little better at the box office though.

I don't think it will. There's likely to be a sizeable chunk of the target demo who are still upset about Edgar Wright. Personally, I have zero intention of seeing it in theatres.

I don't think the casual fan (which is where 95% of the money comes from) has any idea about Edgar Wright. And honestly we are starting to find out which parts where his and which parts were added after his departure and some of the most critically praised parts had nothing to do with him, which is funny because most of the critics were saying that it would have better if Wright did it. Plus it's still basically half his movie anyway, all of the key elements that he came up with are still there, he just didn't want to be part of the MCU team.

I enjoyed the episodes of Daredevil I saw and am excited to see the Punisher and Elektra in season two...but for some reason I can't seem to finish off season 1. I'm only about halfway through and consistently find something else more compelling to watch whenever I sit down to watch something. Strange.

I honestly think I liked it better than Daredevil, which is pretty insane considering that I thought Daredevil was absolutely perfect and he's my 3rd favorite superhero ever.

I definitely liked it more than Daredevil but I'm biased, because David Tennant.

I liked JJ about the same as Daredevil, thought both were excellent and really hope they get season 2 of JJ underway sooner than later. They were way different from each other, in a good way, DD being more action, JJ being very psychological. Can't wait for the Defenders.

Bu out of JJ I may be more excited for Luke Cage. Though Mike Colter was perfect. There are some teasers he may cameo in season 2 of DD. Hope they get Iron Fist cast soon.

Yeah Luke Cage was badass. There were rumors swirling that Iron Fist might be getting replaced with the Punisher but that has been squashed in just the past few days, HUGE relief for me. Fist is my second favorite comic book character ever, and if he gets a show that's as quality as these 2 were I may cry.

My dream is that after defenders we get a Luke Cage/Iron Fist Heroes For Hire show, heavily featuring Misty Knight and Coleen Wing of course.

Me Too, Hero's for Hire would be amazing. A sort of Marvels "Lethal Weapon" combo.

Yes! However at the same time I want an adaptation of the story-line with the seven capital cities of heaven. Guess that can wait until after the Heroes for Hire, probably sometime around 2022.

Jessica Jones is solid so far (at episode 7), but I think Daredevil was far superior at this point. Maybe it really rebounds for the second half, but IMO the next few episodes have to be amazing to even be compared to Daredevil
