I hope they put out some kind of Bluray from the 2013/2014 shows. They haven't put out anything like that in a long time.

Or even a touring band 2013/14 Blur Ray would be great
I would prefer this format as it would give us a better chance to potentially see footage of the shows we attended.

I'm hoping that they will keep the momentum going, and schedule more dates soon......although they do deserve a nice, long, relaxing break....

Everyone says they just finished touring for 2 years lol. It was one year with quite a few breaks in between. Just saying its not like they haven't had time off since they started last October. They've literally only toured for about 5 months in total since last October and 7 months off out of all that. If you ask me they still have more left. They can just keep doing what they've been doing they've been short tours I think they have more in them to keep jamming.

i hope there aren't any more Lightning Bolt tours! I think this they've toured enough behind this album. no need to wear it out. time to start work on a new album!
Who cares what they are touring just tour! I had 2 LB bolt songs played at Detroit... So it doesn't matter I guess
i care because tickets are getting way expensive. for me to be excited, I need to know theres going to be some new songs.

Tickets for PJ are actually really cheap, for a concert. I would be way more excited if they did something a little bit strange and toured in support of an old album like Binaural. There are already too many old songs that I want to hear more than any new stuff. I've only heard 1 song from Riot Act in 3 shows!! Just tour and play some old rarities. Build it and they will come.

When's the last time there were no shows in a whole year? I think it's highly unlikely they won't schedule any shows.

Since albums are not 1/10th the money maker of the past, these guys, to maintain a certain level of lifestyle, have to tour. So, i feel like every year from here on, you can expect at least a short 12 show leg a year. Thats just what I think. They toured A LOT in the past year. The album is still only one year old. I expect them to maybe take time off to record but every year they will be busy. They have kids, wives, etc. And its just unreasonable to me to see the 2007-2009 pre Crapspacer release to be that inactive. But I could be completely wrong. I just think touring brings in the flow.

making albums is very expensive and doesn't amount to much in profits. true. but the songs are what keep us coming back. at this point, i would compare making a new album most any kind financial investment. the payoff comes with time.

and Backspacer was not crap. it was great!!

I am glad the band at least makes an effort to keep putting out new music every few years. perhaps we got spoiled in the first few years where it seemed a new album was on its way just as we finished absorbing the last one. some good years!
