I would recommend all Pearl jam fans to check out the Bridge School shows at least once. They are a blast! I was there in 2001 for both Saturday and Sunday shows and loved them. That was a hell of a line-up as well... PJ, REM, Dave Matthews, Neil Young, Ben Harper... and Billy Fucking Idol!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

Never been in person but this is one of my favorite events each year. Love the kids onstage, love the acoustic performances, love the whole vibe. Definitely on my bucket list of things to do someday.

I'd recommend staying in the area (Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, San Jose). I stayed in San Jose when we went a few years ago and it was only a short drive. The shows start early to mid afternoon (5pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday). They'll get going quickly after those start times due to the number of performers. They can run late into the night on Saturday depending on how the show runs and how long Neil wants to play for the finale, but end earlier on Sunday.

I would love to make this, unfortunately it won't be this year. Spending almost a month back in NY. L.I. To be exact. No more house in the city :-S . My wife will be coming up for her Birthday, before I return home the next week. Less than 2 weeks later, heading to Denver for a week of partying with friends & the PJ show. Wife certainly enjoys some time without me but heading to Cali for the Bridge School show would be pushing it :-?? =)) . Maybe next time. Have fun all.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
    What You Giving

I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!

Such an amazing lineup. Acoustic Hunger Strike, anyone? I've been to so many Bridge Schools that I've lost count. I think this is going to be my 9th or 10th. Definitely a good time, always, and this one is looking special with PJ and SG on the same bill. This totally made my morning.

That was the first thing to cross my mind when hearing PJ + SG.
I'm definitely not gonna make it.... but I will be watching on the live stream if they have it this year.

Almost always, yes. There are a few exceptions some years in which an artist may be one day only, but I don't see any of that this year.
