Posters arrived damaged. Photos added.

I had the Trieste & Milan posters arrive today from the ten club and they're both damaged. Trieste has 4 tears down the left side evenly spaced between the top and bottom, a creased bottom right corner and a bent upper right corner.
Milan has a long creased upper corner and it is creased on the upper part on the posters back.
Both ends of the Trieste tube crushed.

This is a first. Suggestions?

Personally I would file a claim with the shipper if the ends of the tube were crushed. They were obviously mishandled.

Yes, it has been a while :-)

    Anyone ever done this before?

From my work experiences, the sender normally originates the claim with the shipping company. I would notify 10C first. I'm not sure how Mail Innovations works, but UPS provides up to $100 insurance as part of the shipping fee. USPS is $50 I think on priority mail. Good luck.

Banged up? I wish. This thing is now kindling. You can't even 'frame out' the damage on this one.

This happened to me with Philly night 2 on the NA tour. Ten club will refund your money if you show them that you have in fact destroyed both the posters. Meaning pictures of torn up posters. For Trieste like with Philly 2 it's sold out so your SOL on that one.

I've only done it through USPS once before, for a record that was packed really well but obviously beat on by the post office. I just let the seller know what was going on, and I initiated the claim - I had to provide proof of purchase, the amount spent on the item, and pictures of the damage. All done online through the USPS website. I received a check for the full purchase price from them about 2 months later.

Is there damage to the tube?

"has 4 tears down the left side evenly spaced between the top and bottom" sounds absolutely ridiculous to me.

As-is doesn't necessarily mean "damaged." It's just a way for them to cover themselves in the event that someone does get a print with a defect(s). However, if I personally have heard of 4 BADLY damaged Trieste posters, I'm sure there are even more out there. If it's happening this frequently, the logical conclusion would be that a good portion of the lot was indeed damaged before they were ever rolled & tubed.

I agree. And DON'T tear it up to send them pictures to prove that's damage. There is a post about this in the porch and they don't use that method for returns any more. Your choice is either keep a ripped up poster or pay to send it back and they give you a refund.

Berlin 2014 arrived with a folded bottom right corner. For those of you who know, the Berlin 2014 poster is quite large & so is the poster tube. Poster was in the middle of the tube. Tube in mint condition. Packed wrong.
    You're 3 (damaged) for 4 (packed).

Had the same creases on my Trieste poster with no damage to the poster tube. Just have to keep as is since it's my only option to keep the print at a good price.

    Hey there,

I also received a damaged poster in the mail (Amsterdam 2). In my case the tube was dented which damaged the poster. I mailed the 10C about this and got the same exact reply. Thank you 10C! I quit trying to buy stuff from the 10C and I'll just renew my membership from now on as I still want to keep trying to get 10C tickets for the concerts.

Edit: I replied them and they answered me saying that these rules exist to protect the fans from those who buy to resell and that they cannot replace all damaged posts since these are limited in quantity. So it's a "buy it at your own risk" process which ends up being unfair for those who get a damaged product.
