Read up on the seizures of cash, cars and jewelry, primarily from black motorists in podunk towns in the south, for minor traffic violations or small drug amount possession. If I run into a hundred cops, I probably won't run into anyone that awful...but my guard will be up.

I have a friend who follows several "police the police" pages and shares videos nearly every day.
Most people have no idea how often disabled and mentally disabled people are roughed up by the police for not complying with demands.
Even more ubiquitous is police screaming at people to comply with commands that they couldn't possibly comply with. It's pretty hard to put your hands behind your back when there are three knees on your back and your arms are trapped under you...so they scream and scream and punch and kick while the person (who usually didn't actually commit a crime) yells "I'm trying, I'm trying"Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
I was thinking more of the back story. I think I read he was in a foster or group home? And to have no arms or legs, and being 15. That was more sad. And I don't see any reason for a cop to tackle anyoine without legs and arms.0
