No, the gates open at 3pm, the show starts later.

still, 3pm for doors is very early (last tour it was typically 6pm).

Yeah, but consider that this is a huge stadium :) 3 hours may be not enough to fill it with people.

Besides there will be some time to buy a beer or two and talk a little bit with other fans.

Fuck, why do we have to wait soooo long for them..

PS. I'll let you know when I'll buy a ticket, hope it'll be soon (I'll post a photo of it :D)

  • I think the reason doors will open so early is that there is a second (and maybe third) big band that's opening for Pearl Jam. Otherwise there is no way for Pearl Jam alone to fill this place.

That's more wishful thinking than something else. Can't see them play in Europe half june and then end of August again. Cant see them play Coachella.

  • The reason for opening gates so early is the size of the venue. It's always this way on Silesian Stadium.

Don't worry about the tickets - they will be available even after the show and most of the Touring Poles wait for 10c pre-sale anyway ;D

Can't see PJ sellout that place on their own. There must be other bands. If they sell it out though it will be the biggest headlining gig they have ever played.

Heinekn sucks. Eddie confirmed that in Halifax 05. Can't see them play that. I would refuse to go there.

I don't think anyone consider PJ 'sellouting' a show on this stadium - probably only U2 did that in the past. I bet the promoter will be happy with 30-40 thousand tickets sold.

but how can you WAIT for a PRE-sale anyway?
It's supposed to come first! hence the PRE ?

On the one hand it would be sweet but on the other too many other countries deserve the privelege.I'm for European tour not one place and some festivals.

Yeah, I know. To be honest I had thought that there won't be a pre-sale at all, since they touring mainly festivals this year, but this "little birdy" complicated the situation a little. Maybe 10c will give the wristband to every member with a ticket?

Slaski Stadium is very big so I'm afraid as someone mentionned this may be the only show in Eastern-Europe...and although I surely will be there in Chorzow once again after U2's kick ass 2005 show there...I will be terribly sad if PJ won't come back to Hungary once again and there will be no other shows not very far from Budapest:(:(:(:(

But I'm getting to be more sure of a date at Nova Rock Festival (Austrian-Hungarian border):)
it will be held 15-17 June!!!!!!!! two days after the show in Polska:D that would be fantastic

I guess the Poland show and the tour are now officially confirmed by the Ten Club :)
Due to time zone differences and announcement schedules, you are
right, it does not leave the Ten Club enough time for a "pre-sale." However,
rest assured that when the tour is officially announced (very soon) there
will be an opportunity for fan club members to attend the Katowice show.
Please be patient with us and know that we are working for you!

More info later ... Stay posted to http://www.pearljam.com for details in the very
    near future.

    Thanks
