My second show, first one was Globen in 2012. Still processing, but some random thoughts:
1) Friends Arena is just too much space for a rock concert.
2) The band seende to be in a good mood. Shoe thing was hilarious. SIGN HER SHOE!
3) Great Main set! RM and MFS seemed kind of off though.
4) Golden Circle was awesome! Great people and atmosphere! Only problem for me was i could hardly hear the band cause people were screaming so loud!
5) Oceans, Sometimes, Mother, Green Disease, Release, RVM, Baba...all were great!
6) So glad I got tickets to Leeds, will be good to see them in a smaller venue as well!0 -
I really liked your story, thanks for sharinglastexit78 said:My wife and I travelled from Northern California for this show. Thought the encores were tremendous. The acoustic version of Oceans was awesome! To make this trip even better we met Mike this morning walking along the Stockholm shoreline. He was super cool, we chatted for a few minutes and got a picture. First time ever meeting a member of the band and I'm going on 40 shows so it was really special.
and I hope you had a nice time in Sweden.

No. They should play the west coast. Two nights at scandinavium, or an intimate show at trädgårdsföreningenbluegrace said:
Friends arena simply isn't the best arena around. Next time they come here I hope it will be the Tele2 arena.CharlieP said:Great show and the golden circle behaved nicely with plenty of room to move. Sound was pretty good all night but during Red Mosquito it became a little thin. The setlist was a bit 'greatest hits' but some nice surprises thrown in. Only downer for me was the bathroom facilities. Only having like 10 toilet stands in the back of the arena for a 20000+ strong crowd is just not good enough. We were in the line for 1 hour. You can't treat people like this

I've given up on this. PJ will never ever again play in Finland.TK262896 said:Now if only we could get them to play in Finland, too, next time around! :-)
(yes, i truly want to be wrong)Berlin 2006 * Copenhagen 2007 * Copenhagen 2012 * Stockholm 2014 * 4 concerts and 73 different songs in total!0 -

Some interesting facts about this show. They played Stockholm 21 years to the day in 1993. If you look at that setlist they played each and every song they played that night this year. Hard to imagine this was just a coincidence.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

Men jag läste Svd:s artikel, den var positiv, fast handlade annars mest om skribentens egna tonårsminnen kring PJ.

I'll just leave it here:
Finally took some time and strength between crying (All night) and sinking (Deep) in my own thoughts to go through the pictures I made on the most awaited day of my life. And found this:
Fans of Pearl Jam from Iowa, Sweden, Chicago and Russia before the concert.
I heard an awesome story of a 50 years old man standing right next to me, who was saying 'Hello, I am Jeam from Chicago!' to all the people around him and then said that we all should take a picture 'because we are family!' (that is kind of a main reason why I miss the Americans in my life so bad...)
And then he told me it was his 20th Pearl Jam concert. The first one was in 1994 ( I have never felt that jealous in my life. NEVER. ) Each year during these 20 years he's been choosing a city in a different country and going for a concert on a day or two. Last year he was in Costa Rica. This year he came across the ocean to Stockholm for a day just to see his favorite band live.
It makes my heart so warm knowing there are people like him in this world.
Rays of love are flying to you from rainy Saint-Petersburg, Jeam from Chicago.0 -

Yea, thanks for the article Staffan, even though I didn't like her review much, she seems not to be a fan at all. Complaining that the concert was too long...Kool Kat Club 1992, Moderna museet 1992, Globen 2012, Friends arena 20140
