I really like the few albums that I have of his. I really need to continue diving into his catalog. Very talented musician!

Impossible to ever but anything from him. You think the old ten club f5 system was bad...

Its on Amazon. Bullmoose, a few other places. I bet this isn't that hard to get.

The Ryan Adams firebrand store was sold out super fast. Ordered mine from an eBay store Ive bought from before for a couple $ more so hopefully it will come through. I was getting pretty worked up when I clicked the link and it said sold out but looks like it will be available elsewhere but Amazon you can never guarantee. My Sevens is still on order there.

So it seems the one from Pax Am is a limited one and the ones from bullmoose, amazon are a wider release.

The pax am one has a bside of 'aching for more' and the other has 'I Just Might'

Not really sure there is two different 7s. Could just be a title change and info went out wrongly. Firebrand spelt the lead track wrong as well. I think the Firebrand store just meant they had a Ltd quantity to sell. One time press of 3000 I read somewhere.

I guess the pax am facebook said "we are sold out of our allotment, check your local trailer..." Or something like that. I'd really be surprised if they did 2 variants. But I would not be surprised if there was bad info coming out of his camp and there was a mix up as to what the b-side really is. I guess we'll know for certain in a few weeks.

I don't think this will be too hard to get.

So this is part of a 7" series and not an album I hear.

Or maybe not. Bull moose has a preorder for a self titled album coming out 9/9.

The single is available to download now from the Canadian HMV site: https://www.hmvdigital.ca/releases/3561923

I'm in the UK and I managed to download it by paying via PayPal.

It's excellent - a perfect 4 minute slice of Tom Petty / Springsteen inspired radio rock, with a chorus to die for.

I think I'm a bit obsessed with this song, can't stop playing it. I hope the rest of the record is as good.

Gimme Something Good is a really god song. The b-side however is even better. Could be one of the beat songs he's written in years IMO

And Johnny Depp plays lead guitar on it. Which is weird

Ugh, looks like I may have to buy 2 copies...

    NME Website, 2 Different B-Sides
  • Tim SimmonsTim Simmons Posts: 8,405
As I said elsewhere, I doubt there are 2 different b-sides. NME is not know for their journalistic integrity. They probably fucked up. I mean, there could be 2 b-sides, but I would think it would be more widely know.

The copy I have has Aching For More.

Plus the NME article says Glynn Johns is producing. Ryan tweeted the other day it's himself and mike viola.

    Fucking NME.

Nice! Where did u see this?

By the sound of the first two songs I'm assuming he'll be on the road with a full band. Hopefully they'll play cold roses stuff too.
