Texas church goers are definitely appreciated of the 2nd amendment and the right to carry.  Pretty sure many people thought Texas would become the “Wild West”.  As usual responsible people prevail.
There is something very wrong in this country when places of worship (churches mosques, synagogues,  etc) feel the need to have armed security personnel due to the threat of people, mentally unstable and otherwise, coming in and shooting/killing innocent worshipers.

The normalization of more guns equals safety is underway and the NRA loves it so does this a President this country wants to reverse its civil compass and go back to the good ole days ..

Available evidence does not support your theory.
Has Texas become the wild west as everyone suggested?

I really wouldn’t consider that the Wild West.  That happens over a weekend in Chicago.

Weird that three mass shootings in one month doesn’t cross your threshold.

I don’t think so. I m not sure.  I just don’t picture the Wild West like that.  I am thankful that the people in the church were allowed to carry.

Interesting.  I thought I read that he was convicted of a felony in New Jersey and could not own a firearm.  (something like he had a 12 gauge shotgun in his truck while he was out taking photos.)

But “he acquired one anyway.” Because of a “responsible” gun owner.

How surprising that misinformation was used to propel a pro-gun agenda.

The good guy with a gun idea is a comforting fairy tale for gun fans, but like most areas of life, putting your faith in fairy tales prevents any progress toward solutions in the real world, where hard, cold data tells a different story.

    firearms instructor. fired once.

being an instructor suggests a high degree of competence and proficiency.

71 yrs old too, suggests a degree of patience in such a situation. who knows what his background is beyond this that likely contributed to his success at killing this guy .

can we say your average citizen/owner/concealed carry permit holder would be as competent?
