Can gratitude for the american military be combined with getting a Riot Act Deluxe Box set somehow?
Weren’t you the guy complaining about the Funko Pop release and how the world doesn’t need more plastic in the landfill, but now you’re lobbying for more plastic junk to be produced? It’s hard to keep track of your sanctimony.
Where have I in any way argued for "landfill plastic" in Deluxe box sets?
A quote by me from a few years back:
The box sets could have been done more efficiently (personal opinion). Falling into the tired trap of trinkets and "backstage pass reproductions" was off from the beginning. The world is burning, the choice to make a backstage pass reproduction is not one having to be made. Could have collected photos of all those kind of memorabilia-things in a nifty little hardcover book ( akin to that wonderful edition of DEEP with all the tour memorabilia).
Also, shoving duplicate versions of the albums in there by having both CDs and LPs was unnecessary (personal opinion). Again, the world is burning. Just have LP versions - or give people the choice of a LP or a CD boxset. Like they did with the Pearl Jam Twenty documentary where you made the choice of DVD or Bluray.
Also, the former box sets should have included a documentary or a hardcover book covering the albums ins and outs and that period in their career (personal opinion). Instead of trinkets and fluff.
Why are you being on this feisty little everlasting tirade? It makes me uneasy seeing the foam dripping from your mouth.

My apologies. I thought you asking for the band to repress an album you already own on non-recyclable plastic (vinyl) and wrap it in more plastic was contrary to your previous anti-plastic lectures.

That's right @RatherStarved ...can we have some thread integrity. They should be posting on the "Tomorrow's the day before the 10th" thread...I am flagging this....Sea are you seeing this? I don't know what this emoji is saying...but it felt right
Either that or tomorrows the 10th in Australia/NZ.

Yep, it doesn't hurt to get an extra reminder a day or 2 ahead in our busy lives. Even though I typically check Porch multiple times a day, I still somehow miss the moment of crucial drops sometimes.
We were promised back in April that "Big things are happening this year." We've had a bunch of side project activity, a bunch of reissues, and a few shows. Does this qualify as "big things"? Otherwise, there's not much time left in the year.

They finished an album this year. We don't have it yet, but they did the work and completed it this year. The shows may not have been big in number, but the four I went to in TX were big in quality. They planned four legs of touring for us that begin in 5 months. Beside the things mentioned in the above post, I feel like some big things happened this year. Enough that I know I spent WAAY too much!

We'll probably never know their exact process, so it doesn't really matter.

I'd guess a happy holiday...
Maybe that twelve days of Christmas give aways?
no merch yet.
January 10 feeling mystery box
longhorns & Cowboys game to boot
miss Texas, I’ll be back… good times
Probably a Happy Holiday note and that gift cards are available.
A deadline for merch orders to be received by xmas eve and ten club closure.
Announcement for 10 days of pearl jam
Mentioning of Matt Cameron's RSD release
Win some fancy merch for some fancy charity.
A tease to have your membership up to date for next year's big plans
The end.
Yes please!
That would never ever happen
