    I am only going for the Sunday at the festival this year (kids have put an end to my weekend festivals nowadays) but would love to hook up with the rest of you PJ fans. If anyone can post something on here during the course of that weekend with some kind of info as to where the big meet will be I will be sure to get over to you at some point. enjoy your weekend everybody and see you all in 2 weeks

    finally an update on my tickets saying that they are in stock and will be dispatched special delivery!! :)

    I received an email on saturday morning from See Tickets confirming my tickets had been dispatched 11/08/06 and would be delivered by special delivery within 2-3 days and to make sure someone was home to sign for them as they would not be left without a signature. Hope this helps anyone who is getting a little anxious about the impending show

    I just wanted to tell you lads, I got the same email, telling me they were being dispatched by special delivery .. THEN got told in a following email from them that all overseas ticket holders must collect their tickets at the venue with proof of identity cc card and confirmation number. Maybe worth giving them a ring .. as I know I have to collect them no earlier than 12pm at Reading on the sunday. Which is a balls. first have to queue to pick up my already paid for tickets and then get in a queue to get into the damn place.. and I have no idea what the place is even like ...

    So wheres the pearl jam fans meet up at Reading ? Myself and himself (Cagey) are travelling over to Reading and will be going there together.. would be nice to meet with a few other heads :D

    yeah see you arent overseas ... so you would recieve yours no probs. its the overseas people that are being penalized :( apparently because tickets get "lost" in the post ..
    EHHHH HELLLOOOO isnt that the whole point of special delivery and registered post.

    Somebody needs to be assigned the duty to block that barrier for the Love Army... I'd be more than happy to volunteer but I'll need company to survive the acts before our guys take over the stage ;)

    I TOTALLY agree - but somebody needs to give Zoediva a nudge and get her lazy ass out of bed in order for her to delegate this task!!

    I think a MUSE reccy is in order the previous night to see how their fans get right to the front - and at what time they start to queue for the barrier.. hmmmm

    Maybe I should take over this rag tag army and instil some discipline and planning amongst its ranks???

    I got mine yesterday, had to have them redelivered as I missed them on Saturday. It is a courier so you have to sign for them.
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    I got mine yesterday but I didnt sign for them my flatmate did I thought that only the addressee could sign for it anyway no problem. I did however have to check my tix a million times to make sure that they said saturday 26th August on them..... what saturday oh no ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shit who's playing saturday anyway..... So just 11 days to go Rock on!!!!!!!11

    Got the email saying they sent it on Friday but still nothing had arrived yesterday (same for a friend).
    I'm going to have a problem if it's a courier and not Royal Mail..they are generally miles and miles away so can't go pick it up...redirecting cost money (if they even accept to do it) and I refuse to pay on top of the already extortionate p&p rate.
    What's wrong with Special Delivery? they'd already be there too..

    gosh I hate those ticket services...

    I wasn't in when they tried to deliver mine to my house on Saturday and had them redirect/redeliver to my work yesterday. Didn't cost anything :)

    They do say they'll deliver between 9-5 so you need to be in for the whole time though :o

    Or if you have to leave the building for any reason you can leave a passport/bankcard with someone at work who will then be able to sign for it.

    You lot have it feckin easy out -at least you have them before the day dawns ! We cant pick ours up until the day of the festical at 12pm at the venue.. and we got our tickets the exact same way as you on the meanfiddler site (ie seetickets.com) and paid by credit card..not mine personally,but my friends.
    So I have to remember to bring my passport (for ID) my letter ,from my friend authorizing me to pick up the tickets he paid for with his CC , and the confirmation email from the website..so I can queue for the privelage of getting the tickets I've paid for months ago.

    And why? Why all this hassle? Cos We live in Ireland... and tickets can "get lost" on the way there :eek:

    It's nice to see some buzz on this thread however my problem hasn't been solved yet therefore I ask again if anybody's traveling on Sunday from London... just so much not fancy the idea of getting there alone :(

    We are, dunno what time or what train or anything, but we're going aross by train to reading from Some part of London.
