    Afternoon all ;) another day of work almost done... :o

    bought new Arcade Fire & Decemberists plus first Stooges and an Uncle Tupelo CD at lunch time so even more new music to check out :rolleyes: :D:D

    Yeah was listening to Raw Power & Lust For Life while reading magazine article, couldn't decide between Stooges & Fun House for a while but eventually plumped for this one, will probably follow up with Fun House soon anyway :rolleyes: :o was only £5...

    No Fun is just a compilation album combining a selection of songs from the first two albums. May aswell just buy the first two albums.

    well I've wanted it for a long time, we only have the demolition cos the plans haven't been got for the construction of the new stadium yet... but I thought I should get my name in there anyway. I've been meaning to do it for weeks :o and now I have. Doesn't mean I'll get it though but the ending of my job should coincide nicely so we'll see how it goes :)

    yuummmmm!! :) may tempt me to head out at lunchtime for some of Pret's banana cake ... it will mean restarting an addiction I thought I'd broken though :o

    I'm staying away from the garlic thread as I'm already feeling hungry today and I love the stuff.

    Oh Helen what's going on is that NIN cancelled their gig last night and so we are hoping gig on Wednesday will still go ahead :(

    Thanks :) it's probably the first time I've ever been excited about the possibility of getting a job... oh apart from this one time they were talking about a receptionist in a big recording studio... I wanted that but the agency wouldn't send me for the interview :mad: . Think I expressed my love for music too much and they wanted someone indifferent.

    Working beside the beach is lovely... I have a grand view here, and I can't wait for the summer so that I can walk literally about 30 steps and sit beside the Irish Sea and eat some lunch! Now all I'd need is a Mr.Freeze!

    Oh I'm soooo jealous :o . Last summer a few days when I couldn't face the bus in that heat, I got the train to the beach and sat there for a couple of hours... it was lovely. Plus, we have another site not too far from Lansdowne and I get on great with the girl there so I could meet up with her for lunch.

    Oh I really hope I get it :o . The woman who KINDA has a say in where people go, her husband worked here for a while and thinks I'm brilliant :) AND they were at my table at the christmas party so I get on really well with her :)
