I'm pretty sure there is a bar in the airport. I have memories of pulling an all nighter there after a Pogues gig at Christmas.

    Hey hey hey!

Just been for a relaxing back massage and feel all chilled and de-stressed - for now!

Spent a long long day in Dublin yesterday - the mothers (my mam, gran and the boyf's mam!) can shop for fucking England! They went into EVERY SINGLE CARROLLS IRISH GIFT STORE IN FECKING DUBLIN yesterday - seriously! They were even comparing prices at one point! THEY'RE ALL THE SAME FECKING SHOP!

HH - sorry didn't ring you - couldn't get my phone to recognise your number?! Oh what it would have been to escape the shopping! We'll arrange a night out when I'm over there at the beginning of August with my best mate, Bridget, her hubby and my ginga boyf!

I think I might now go lie down with some Pearl Jam playing quietly in the background - and drift softly off to sleep! IT is 20 to 6 after all - bedtime!!!!! :)

By the way, I wonder if the Americans are aware of the fact that the American leg of the tour is merely Pearl Jam practicing for Dublin??

I've seen them twice now - absolutely cracking! My dad is a huge fan so we've taken him the last two years for his Xmas pressie - always amusing to see your dad sloshed on the Black stuff trying to Irish dance in the middle of Newcastle Arena and shouting "Bastards" every two minutes!!!! :)

Last year they were supported by the Dropkick Murphys - one of my fave bands and the first time I've been able to "see" them - every other time I've seen them was at the Uni and I'm too short to see the stage but at the arena it's high up so I got a good view! Don't think my dad and uncle were that impressed - I think my uncle said something about never having seen instruments abused in such a way before! Classic! :D

    Evening all.

Just wondering, do we know the support act for Dublin? People have been telling me Sonic Youth or Kings of Leon or possibly Deerhoof. Any of the three would be fantastic, really.
