Question for the Dublin Crew - if you were taking one of the shuttle buses from Dublin City Centre to Marlay, when would you want to leave? I see articles from last year advising folks to add 2 hours to their expected travel time for shows - that can’t be right can it?
I've used that service many times and it's never taken 2 hours, not going out anyway. An hour tops. That being said one should always factor in for unexpected problems but unless there's a ten car pile up en route I wouldn't expect you'd need to board the bus earlier than an hour, allowing the usual time for going through security st the venue etc.
Difficult to judge. At the St. Anne's series of concerts for the last two summers people have had to walk into the city, and that's a lot closer than Marlay Park. Now it could be because it is so close that they simply didn't add additional buses. But difficult to plan.
Please bring Mike Scott and Steve Wickham on stage in Dublin to cover Fisherman's Blues And please don't forget to play Education (where it made its live debut)

Does anyone know if it's easy to park in Rathfarnham please? Either public car park or street parking? Looking at arriving around midday.
