I was out sick from work on Friday - this place is stressing me out, it's not good! I slept for about 15 hours and was right as rain pretty much when I woke up on Saturday
Went to The Hill of Tara on Saturday (some of you may have seen the photos already). It was soooo wet and cold but still hugely funny. My nephew turned two so I had to go to a party for him with all the clan which was chaotic as usual. Those kids are crazy!
I did manage to make it back up to Dublin for a pint or two, before having a deep meaningful conversation with an ex of mine outside the pub for over an hour  No love was declared though
Yesterday then meself and my friend went to get a full carvery dinner before I left her home and crashed out for the day.
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Jen did you do the nasty with the ex then kick him out...ya mad yoke
Hey D

Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
And how are you m'dear? All full of cupcake goodness?!
I'm bloody sick of cupcakes now! They were uber tasty though... might have to make some more

As for myself, I keep finding more and more things I need to remember and take care of for/during/because of this whole moving malarky. Thank goodness I love lists! :geek:
"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."
Emmi... are you sure you are the goddess of lists? You have some VERY strong competition from someone who posts on this thread!
Cupcakes... G made these for school at the end of the summer term
Goddess of lists? Me? Oh hell no. That title goes to someone else entirely.
Doesn't look like it's gonna be a very productive day today. Gloomy outside and I'm tired. Guess I'll watch a film before worky. :geek:

Don't know what's wrong this week Monday awake at 5.56 (I know that's late Rita ), Tuesday 4.07, today 3.22 ... I don't think I can cope if this trend continues
Morning all.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
Oh Thierry just noticed in your sig you were at Katowice too! Where were you in that mental crowd??
I was front row in front of Stone  ... near the guy who requested Whipping for his 100th show ... but I survived ... very bruised and with PJ's security asking me several times if I was ok :P

Of all the Pearl Jam gigs I've gone to, that was my least favourite.
The day started off well... great weather and the beer was flowing nicely. But Linkin Park over played and the crowd was pretty rough.
Nearly missed the last train back to Krakow and was stopped by non english speaking cops for jaywalking.
Nightmare!

Yeah. I think Linkin Park had to overplay as PJ weren't ready (although Mike was stood side stage watching them) ... they didn't arrive at the venue until we were being let in (hence no wrist bands as PJ staff hadn't arrived with them  ) ... and they didn't sound check ... so think they were delaying while PJs equipment was being set up.
I don't know how near the front of the 10c queue you were but it did feel like we were being kept in a pen after awhile why they waited to be able to give us tickets .... and then PJ staff running back and forwards saying we'll let you in in 10 minutes ... just 20 more minutes ... gates will open in 15 minutes promise
Didn't like the Polish band, didn't mind Linkin Park ... PJ cutting their set short so they could get to Venice that night :( ... and then seeing what was on the setlist

If they had played the set they had planned to .... don't look if you don't already know/aren't prepared to be hurt http://www.flickr.com/photos/jmgphotos/ ... 500307698/
The poster is probably my favourite though ... we were staying in Katowice so luckily didn't have travel problems.
