To each his own, just throwing it out there. A stay at the Parkway (free cancellation until 4pm same day) would give you a better location and overall weekend, with potential for saving $ on cab fare . I'll shut up now, it's beginning to sound as though I work for them. I just love the CWE.
I'm calling you out on this @CM234968. Great call dude. My room has a fridge and a microwave and a closet and it's spacious and clean and there's free fruit and popcorn and cookies in the lobby. I woke up in the middle of the night so I've been out for a couple hours already and the neighborhood is super comfortable. I'm writing this from a coffee shop that was playing counting crows when I walked in and van Morrison right after. I'm just waiting for mass to let out then I'm going to check out the Basílica and head over to the arch after. There's about a million restaurants on this Euclid block and Maryland looks about the same. There's also a Jimmy John's open until 4am 2-3 blocks from the hotel so I will not starve after the show tonight!

For those going to the St. Louis show, I would recommend getting there early. In Cincinnati there was a huge delay for those who came late because the band requested that everyone get wanded for security reasons and there was only 1 door to get in. We got there just after 5:30pm (after the doors opened) and had no problems. But those that decided to wait until 7:00 to show up had a deal with a long wait to get in and some missed the first few songs even though PJ didn't hit the stage until 8:22pm. Doors in Cinci opened at 5:30pm and the show was supposed to start at 7:30pm but didn't start until 8:22pm (not that I expected it to start at 7:30pm)

Should not be a problem getting in at Scottrade Center. They will have plenty of entrances opened.

you can see the arch from all of them. poplar street bridge is closer to it and you get a better view of the skyline, but i do not recommend walking on it, as it is an interstate.

Had one of those and then split an 18 beer sampler flight. Rally cap red was amazing.

merch line was the worst i have ever seen. at least at wrigley if you stood there for a half hour you took at least 3 steps forward. i took some people who have not seen pj in 6 or 7 years. i talked about how they arrange it so you can get merch and put it in your room or your car. the merch line made me look like a guy who made promises i knew i could not keep. it was pathetic.
