    Is that for headliners only? Back in 2009 several artists that were at ACL played other shows in texas around that time. Just wondering I mean despite a contract shouldnt a band as big as Pearl Jam pretty much be able to do what they want.

    I think typically these contracts are only set up for non-compete for certain amounts of time. Like how the Vic Theatre show was announced a few days prior to Lollapalooza.

    Sort of. Certain amounts of time and distance. A small fan club only show would not have any effect on tickets. If PJ had played 2 shows at Alpine, Detroit, Minneapolis, among other cities right around the same date, that could have effected tickets.
