Ive been holding out for buying a single day ticket for ACL but Houston would be nice.....this just better be real today that we are getting an announcement or I may go more insane than I already am...
Same boat. I mean they will already be in TX so they have to have a date there...right?! I hope we don't get skipped because of the two ACL dates....

ACL's contract probably prohibits any other Texas shows

Is that for headliners only? Back in 2009 several artists that were at ACL played other shows in texas around that time. Just wondering I mean despite a contract shouldnt a band as big as Pearl Jam pretty much be able to do what they want.

I think typically these contracts are only set up for non-compete for certain amounts of time. Like how the Vic Theatre show was announced a few days prior to Lollapalooza.

Sort of. Certain amounts of time and distance. A small fan club only show would not have any effect on tickets. If PJ had played 2 shows at Alpine, Detroit, Minneapolis, among other cities right around the same date, that could have effected tickets.

Gotcha, that makes sense.

Any Red Rocks rumors? I know Denver is on the fall tour.. Might be too late in the year since Red Rocks only goes through Sept..
red rocks is pretty full in sept
only weekend date open is 9/14, but that is too early....a few weekdays open in the last two weeks
logistically with what has been leaked the only way they make it to denver is the week in between ACL weekends....then it will probably be pepsi. last show on the red rocks calendar right now is 10/2 or 10/3

the radius clause could get lifted if ACL is sold out both weekends
i know they sold out the first but not the second though, correct?

I dunno, Texas is a pretty big place. I would say no cities within a couple hours of Austin... and Dallas got a show last year... so unless they play Lubbock again you may be right!
I'm really getting my hopes up for a Denver show... haven't noticed any of the leaked cities in that week between ACL so that's where I'm putting my money!!
