What the fuck is the real reason they will not play in Louisville? Has to be a dispute between promoters or something. 16th largest city in the US, state of the art facility that hosts the likes of Paul McCartney and the Who, yet PJ always bypasses Louisville... I am grateful for this band, but totally disappointed that for the 20th consecutive year, I have waited with baited breath for a tour announcement to include Louisville and it just has not happened.

I am totally surprised they aren't playing there. All the good bands skip Cincinnati and go to Louisville!

Even if i decided to make a big road trip - I couldn't get anyone to go with me. Pushing down disappointment. At least I get to fetch my runaway son and drag him to therapy in an hour and half - that should be a delight. :-S Oh well, that's what I get for coming late to the party.

Yeah same here. I'm in PA and the closest show is Cinci but that's 9 hours away. On a Wednesday, that's probably not gonna work. Was really hoping for Toronto or Montreal. Wanted to make the trips.

I'm right next to the George Washington Bridge in NJ, so Cincinnati is too far, esp. for the 'responsible' people i know to convince to go.

That's where I was looking to go too
Well join us over in the "not giving up hope for Toronto" thread
Cinci / Detroit / St. Louis are my options. Could drive to the first two in about 6 hours...wife hasn't said no yet. I'll take that as a yes. May have to enter. The gaps between albums is just too long anymore

Thanks for the info, it will help with the decision making.
I'm glad for all the folks in the middle states who haven't gotten many shows lately, but I'll probably have to sit this one out - weekdays plus distance just make it not feasible. But I can't complain - I went to London ON and Brooklyn last year. Hope everyone wins lottery for the shows they want.
