the amount of cheese in the supermarket i was in earlier this week bordered on the ridiculous.... how did this love of cheese come about americanos????

I have to agree. As a person who doesn't like cheese, I am finding that I am having a very hard time getting snacky items like sandwiches over here. There is cheese in everything. Where's the love for the people who don't like that icky stuff?

What kind of person doesn't like cheese? Perhaps that is what this thread is about.

If I was lactose intolerant, I don't know how I could go on with my life.

Strike that. If I were lactose intolerant, I would still eat cheese to my Geary's content. Everyone around me will just have to deal with the profane smelling farts.

It's like the (thankfully few) people who've told me they don't like animals. What?

I've only met a couple of cheeses I wasn't crazy about.

Leeze - when getting a sandwich, you can always say "hold the cheese" :D
(and you're German, no? And you don't like cheese?! The German half of me is ashamed!)

    Wait - what's fancy cheese?

It makes me think of the dairy version of Mr. Peanut, but dancing around a bit and wearing an ascot.

    cate francis, you are absurd.

how about eggs? i made fried eggs this morning. different way. put a coating of olive oil on the pan....heated pan....cracked open a couple eggs.....then added a couple table spoons of water to an empty part of the pan. covered and cooked for a few minutes.

with the steam, it poaches the egg a bit. nice and crispy at the bottom, nice and soft at the top.

    delicious.

    sunday morning....
