  • Pumpkin spice flavour is yuck just like maple 'flavour'. The real thing rocks but the flavoring they put in everything is yuck.

    Pumpkin spice in most of North America is this artificially flavoured syrup which you don't want to duplicate. Now the spices you add to pumpkin to make it delicious consists of some combination of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, orange water and allspice. It differs from person to person and recipe to recipe. Puree some pumpkin add a little of the first three ingredients a little bit at a time till it's delicious then experiment with the other ingredients to make it even more delicious.
