dude, you were just at the wrong place in Antwerp. I was about right in between Eddie & Jeff (3rd row) and everyone was totally into it.

But of course, I've already learned you and me have different interpretations of "being totally into a concert"...

maybe i have the wrong idea of what moshing is, or myabe some of you do

people seem to think its jumping around, moving about to the music. thats not moshing, thats called "basic music appreciation"

moshing is ignoring the music runnin into each other at full force and shoving other people around, thats called "basic assfacedness"

    3. stop bitching about moshing people. They're more rock than you.

Apparantly you have taken too many blows to the head in the pits. "Espect"?

I love how ppl think thse shows have been rough. Go to a heavy metal gig and see what moshing is really all about. This doesnt even come close to the kaos seen in those pits.

That's fine... but not everyone is into moshing. However, everyone on this forum IS into Pearl Jam. So relax and try to understand others.

moving and moshing arent related silly person

i like to jump about and dance, but not into other people to the extent that they could get knocked over or hurt

i had to grab some little prick by the neck and til him to stop in dublin cos he ran full force into a young girl and smacked her in the face. needless to say he stopped it.

    make dancemoves, not war

Well said Duggro...I'm going to venture to guess that most of the so called pro moshers are very young, males, that think it's so "cool". Maturity hasn't set in yet or this is the only way they can think they are all grown up.

I wouldnt really call it moshing anyway. People are just close together becasue they fush to the front to try get the best view which seems to happen naturally at the start. Then as ppl move to the music becasue its so cramped no one can control their movements.

To be serious with you. I would not want a single PJ fan to get hurt, no matter who they are.

Like someone has said, try to see it how others see it. I am a very small woman at 5 feet and a 100 pounds but I would love to be up front. I wouldn't want to have a boot hit my head and I sure don't want to leave all bruised up.

I know some mosh pits get beyond out of control, the rapes and beatings at Woodstock, perfect example. I would not go to a Slipknot concert and expect to be in moshpit and come out without a single bruise.

I hope as you are a PJ fan like all of us, that you actually would protect those who find themselves in trouble.

Remember the bond that connects us all is the love we have for the greatest band on earth.
