If someone buys this please take a pic and post it here. I'm curious to see how it looks, but not curious enough to actually buy it.

    Lightsaber colors ;)

Ah... didn't even think of that. Very good!

However, the movie titles are totally ROYGBIV'd.

Wow. Got my package from Newbury today. Totally destroyed. Ordered 5 records and all 5 have a noticeable bend in the damaged corner. These pics are literally how the box was delivered to me.

They might replace them... although that is obviously the fault of the the shipping company rather than Newbury, no? Or do you feel that the packaging wasn't adequate? I guess there isn't much tape on there .... Perhaps Newbury has some kind of insurance arrangement with the shipping company.

Newbury aren't the best packers of vinyl. I always end up with dented corners on the vinyl I buy from them.

Ok, maybe a dumb question, but are all the Newbury releases official and equivalent pressing and sound quality to the standard release? I just checked out their website and there are some really cool pressings I'm tempted to purchase, but I'm not familiar with the quality.

Thanks for your help in advance!

I've purchased a few of NC's releases. Mainly the jazz releases when they have ran sales. I haven't experienced anything negative with any.

If you can find a standard release, I'd buy that over the NC release though. Unless youre into colored vinyl, gimmick releases. You'll save yourself some cash.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I know better, but those colored vinyls are so tempting....
