My last prized possession....Time to let it go....Had a guy offer more than I am asking for it a few years back but wasnt ready to sell then and dont have his contact info anymore...Maybe he is here.....$4K is what I am asking...it is the only one like it in the world...Signed by Jeff and has the meaning of it all....Will leave it here for a few weeks and see if there is any interest at all before taking it elsewhere...here is a link to it for a pic and a good read to tell you all you need to know....please message or email with any questions....thanks...

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12

good luck old friend. This is a gem so I can feel your hesitation in your heart to let her go...
you should also post it up in Joe's Facebook F Me In the Brain page for more exposure. Surely this beauty needs first class attention for a first class fan. bump!!

Would love this. hmm .. cash up front or loan?

    If loan, how about this. $34 dollars a month. x 12 (months) is $408 a year. For 10 year's. .. $4080.

Being tax season & all, I'm sucked dry. D'oh!

The fact it's personalized to "Scott" has me seriously trying to move funds around in my head to purchase this. Hahaha....

Did this really sell for $4g?

One sold on the bay for $1200 not too long ago.

The one on ebay didnt have the sleeve, and this sleeve is personalized by Jeff which is a massive added bonus. Great item for sure!

Since my name isn't Scott, I find it a hard sell, which apparently it wasn't for someone else though. Maybe that's just me?

I couldn't justify buying something made out to someone else.

Congrats on the sale though. That's insane.

How much did it go for?

I think it went for $250

Scott was clear on price - this will have sold at $4k - nothing less. Its uniqueness and the writing set it apart from all other RR's, and certainly inflated the price.

The market rate is significantly less, but its hard to put such a value on something as individual as this - hence it sold for a great price,.

I always enjoy following the excitement and buzz this item generates, if for no other reason than because it never appealed to me enough to pursue.

    My chequing account is grateful.

Funny part is, probably wouldn't make the used bin because it looks like a regular cd-r copy. :P

I will not go into great detail here out of respect for the buyer, but I will say this. The person it is going to has been waiting many years for it...they could not have been more decent, humbled, appreciative and excited to be able to get their grail, and I think it has found the perfect home. I could not have hand picked a better place for it to go. All $$ aside, some things happen for a reason and this is one of those times...

So ends my journey in the collecting game.. .I will sell off the remaining items I have, although much more insignificant in both value and stature, and dream and have fond memories of times gone by for me....It was a great ride and I will miss it very much....aside from that the small trinkets I will have left are those that will be kept for sentimental reasons only and I am now officially retired...

Thanks to you all for the friendships and the great discussions we have had, and while I look forward to still continuing to watch you all from afar and smile and have the occasional discussion here and there....it has lost its luster for me for many reasons known to some but not all.. Thanks again...

    Scott
