Alter Bridge is pretty horrible in my opinion. And I find l they sound like every other crap band that comes out today. Mark Tremonti remains amazing even though he is a part of Alter Bridge, it's safe to say he's the only good part of the band.

I have no idea who you think they sound like today, but they are infinitely better than Creed, and Myles Kennedy is one of the finest vocalists (from a technical stand point) out there, regardless of whether you like his vocal tone or not - the guy can wail with the best of them.

I don't mean to sound like I think Myles can't sing because I know he can.. I said that in the past comments. I just hate his voice and I think alter bridge sounds like every other band out right now. Kinda like you guys with Creed.

It was years ago, but I remember having a good time. This was before their first national hit - the album was just sold locally. Then they started touring and had a hit - can't remember which one and then I believe they rerecorded the album to touch it up. I remember preferring their "local" album over their national album.

After that first album, I lost interest in the band.

I thought we did this already? Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, bit of STP and Live thrown in too, Candlebox, Silverchair........

creed was specifically manufactured to sound like the above bands. i can't remember where i read it (it was years ago), but they said it was an intentional 'grunge-lite' sound.
did you see me? i saw you.

Sevendust was amazing. But Creed blew them away!

Sevendust stomps all over Creed in every way possible.

While I agree.....From a live perspective at the show I went to....Creed was better. Of Course Sevendust was the opener, so they didn't control everything. I am still a big Sevendust fan and haven't listened to Creed in years.

I'm not a huge Sevendust fan, but every time I saw them they killed it.

Agreed, but a lot of them were lumped into the nu-metal scene. Have some buddies that got into that, but System of a Down was the only one that hooked me. Toxicity is a classic.

    Their first 2 albums destroy.

I don't get how Creed sounds anything like Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains.
They do sound a bit like STP and Live at times.
