    I think they should, too. The unfortunate part is I think he's going to cost too much because he's basically the only decent OF rental on the market (I'm not counting Ohtani in this discussion).

    Apparently they're looking at Pham, too, but us making inter division trades with the Mets haven't boded well for us.

    Teo and Lane Thomas could be good moves too, depending on what you have to send out.  Thomas has been really good this year.

    Yeah Thomas is having a pretty good year, but I don't think it'll be worth what they'll have to give up for him. I mean unless they're going to make him they're dedicated centerfielder for the next 3-4 years, which I don't think he plays a lot.

    Did anyone see the UCLA fan apparently challenge the Phillies dugout to fight after Harper's home run?  Just read a brief article mentioning....saying the guy was escorted out and flipped off the crowd.

    UCLA.  Same idiots everywhere.  :lol:

    Gotta give Topper credit for using Kimbrel in the 8th against the tough part of the lineup and for getting the defense OF into the game at the end. It was funny watching Edmundo Sosa playing darts with that RF foul pole.

    This was one of the dumbest baseball games I've seen in a long fucking time. Jesus christ. They should've swept this team. Horrible weekend.

    Yeah that was a pretty fucking horrible series loss. Gotta at least take three out of four against the Marlins now.

    I went once in the late 80's at the Vet. Got Schmidt. Jeltz, Bedrosian, Don Carmen and a few others pics. I remember we were allowed on the field and it was roped off. Most of the players were cool and chatted/shook hands except for Schmidt. He was the only player that we weren't allowed to shake hands with and he just posed with his hands behind his back.

    Walker leads the majors in wins now with 12  :o

    Whatever speed or stuff he has, you know Taijuan Walker (sp?) is going to fight like hell to win the game. Unlike another particular pitcher with a notable knuckle curveball.

    I like the move to pivot to bolstering the rotation. I'm not sure what they're giving up beyond Lee, but I like this move.

    He was the broke man version, yes.  Reds used him as pinch hitter and runner.  He was almost exclusively used from the pen.  He was a center fielder in college....good hitter.
