Yooo, the bar at the new four seasons is siiiiiick. You look down on liberty place. The elevator ride up is wild too take your gals
I want to do this
Service at the bar is not great, it was busy though, but it is a really cool spot
There is a spot I got to after Kings games in LA that is up high and in a post hotel (Ritz) Perfect spot to wait out traffic and have a cocktail. I love a nice upscale bar with a great view for a few drinks. (Can go to Oscars or some dive after. )
Just bought tickets to Strand of Oaks's Friday night show as part of their Winter Classic at Boot & Saddle. Gonna be good times.
No shit. What is the date?
December 12, 13, 14 (Thurs, Fri, Sat).
Nice. New album is really solid
Oh, it is. Can't believe it's taken their 5th time doing this for me to check them out at B&S. That place is awesome and to hear that much sound in such a small place is going to be ear splittingly awesome.

Got tix for Saturday. Thanks for the heads up!
Saw them open for MMJ a few years back. Hell of a show

I went to one of the shows last year at B&S which was great. Saw him earlier this year at Union Transfer which was also good. Will probably go to one of the shows this year.

but he walks a lot - ain't so easy to hit 40 home runs and drive in over 100 runs a year like some around here used to argue about a certain 1st baseman with a big contract

Over the course of that contract he never hit more than 25 home runs and never drove in 100
Does kapler keep his job? I predict yes but I obviously think he shouldn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets fired though obviously. 4th place in the division is absolutely brutal

that wasn't the point. a lot of people argued it was easy to do because of the number of chances he got. it wasn't.
and are you hoping the Yankees play the best teams in the playoffs again this year or do just want them to win?
the Kapler issue is tough. they have to re-up him if you are bringing him back but if you don't think he is going to here in 3 years they you shoudn't re-up him. my guess is they sign him to an extension...then fire him midway through next season

Well RBI is not an accurate representation of a player but we’ve gone around and around on that one
just want them to win this year that the Red Sox are involved. Would prefer Houston to lose in the DS, so different mindset.
I have a tough time seeing them give him an extension after this season but they seem to be sticking by him
Officially eliminated from the playoffs. Offense pretty much struggled throughout the year, especially Rhys. Also injuries didn’t help and of course the continuing saga of Kapler’s decisions. 😕

I said a couple pages back that the only manager more insufferable than Kapler is Maddon. The guy is the smartest guy in every room he's ever been in...just ask him.
Also, he is incredibly overrated. He has had some really good players right in their prime on his most successful teams.
Hey...improved on last year’s record by a game. Frankly I only had them about five or six games better than that anyway.
Harper, Nola, and Realmuto do make for a good nucleolus. They need to replace Kapler and get some pitching, but the ingredients are there for a team that can contend.
