Thanks for the news. I don't know if I'll go see them when they come back to Toronto. I'd like that they play more pre-Brothers material on their upcoming tour in addition to their newest album. I saw them in March 2012 and while it was a great show, one of their spotlight blinded me throughout most of their set and I was unable to see Dan Auerbach for most of the show as a result. It was perfectly fine when Arctic Monkeys opened the show though.

The Black Keys are amazing in small venues... Stadiums and amphitheaters? Eh...not so much.

I thought the single was coming out but the album was up in the air... Kinda cool

• Still "no further album plans," but you have to wonder how far behind they are with the release of "Fever."
Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Fortunately for me, I've subscribed to Deezer on March 9 for a really great special of only 99 cents and I can stream and sync music on my laptop, my iPad and my iPhone for the next THREE MONTHS. The deal ended later that day. I'll be using that to listen to the new Black Keys album as well as the upcoming one from Coldplay if Deezer will have it. I'm not really looking forward to Coldplay's new album, judging from what I heard from Midnight and Magic and the two songs they played at ITunes Festival this month (and I like the band). Black Keys, on the other hand, I hope.

Sounds like Broken Bells to me. Danger Mouse must have been the producer. Black keys are progressing the wrong way in my opinion!

I love Broken Bells...but this is bad!

yeah it does, especially the beginning. Hopefully the rest of the album is a little better. Didn't hate it, but def. didn't love it.

• I didn't feel it the first time. I hope it will be a grower. I don't mind artists taking their music in a new direction, but it doesn't always work for everyone.

Yeah, just heard this on the way home, actually almost changed it before I knew it was Black Keys, then I gave it a chance. Definitely not my favorite

• Didn't care for it
• Mixed feelings. It's not what I've grown to expect and love from Black Keys, but I'm a little bummed out and a little excited about that at the same time if that makes any sense. I mean, when I first heard Gold on the Ceiling I raised my eyebrows, but it's a jam.

You're right about that, although Danger Mouse did actually produce Tighten Up. That's the only track he produced on Brothers.
