why haven't they stuck chicago up someone's ass yet?
that's a pretty narrow spot ya got there, mickeyrat.
what's in the boxes?
do you ever have to load or unload your trailer; when i drove i absolutely hated that. you're already tired now you gotta unload the bastard... what the frig!? or load the thing & drive all dang forever. it was a fun life, a love/hate relationship really.
how about opening your door to follow the trailer around a bend w/ your mirror? or using your passenger mirror like that but not opening the door but using the electrical mirror adjustment thingamajobber. or when your tractor trailer is longer than the lot you are on? & like mickrat said, you gotta blindside the thing into the dock for these pricks w/out taking out some broads cadillac, which she parks right there in the way everyday, leaving just enough room to squeak on by
now where's my breakfast. oh yeah, gotta prepare it here directly. food thread time.

Thirty -- I don't think royalties work that way but you will find I can be a generous guy....2%!
Chad -- awesome answer, you never let up dude. Almost peed my pants at this part:
you see one must bump into shit, scrape up the place, you know damage
things like all good truck drivers do when learning how to jackknife a
trailer around a crowded ass warehouse's shipping dock, in the dark, in a
blizzard or rain & you been up all dang day/night tryin get there
so this outfit can sell more elvis presley signature series stroke rags
Very reasonable.
Folks... this is how you settle your affairs. No lawyers. No long, drawn out legal battles. Just two people coming to agreeable terms.
Chadwick... do you agree with people making the handshake agreements... or do you prefer legalities to formalize such pacts?

Chad, we miss your wisdom in this time of piss and shit. I have many questions for you.... What do you think of this new song by our guys? If you had to live in a camper or a seedy motel, which would you choose? Who is the fairest of them all? What is the strangest thing you have found in your mighty beard? What might you normally be doing at 4:30 in the afternoon?

On February 1st, I start on a 66 day effort to build a new habit. (This will be exercise related.) 66 days is reported to be the average time it takes your body and mind to accept something in as a habit. My desire is to build a good habit, to accompany the many 'bad' habits I already have, and for it to help me on a number of fronts. This is something I am 100% committed to doing every single one of those 66 days, consecutively, to see how my body/mind responds. I travel frequently for work so it needs to be something I can do anywhere. (If it were summer I could swim, I know you are partial to that) Viking raids also appear to be 'out' as I am just not sure how that would work, logistically.
Advice:
Treadmill Running
Body Weight Exercise Regiment (Schedule of different activities for different days - push ups, planks, etc)

ooohhhh. Good one. Not sure I can fit that in every day, and how much that would really be a worthy exercise...but it is very Chadwickian. Touche.

15 minute meditation of trying to silence the “noise.” Can be done anywhere but the quieter the place, the better.

Have been practicing with that already. I have not made it to 15 minutes successfully but am working toward. Great suggestion and I am amazed at how challenging I have found meditation to be.

Want this new piece to be physical in nature.
Want Chadwick to show me the way!
Get yourself up to 30 minutes and you'll be free. Better yet, go to Thailand and do a 24, 48, 72 hour vow of silence in a Bhuddist temple. The challenge of shutting your mind down so that there is "nothing" or "silence" inside your head is a great and worthy one. I have a family member who did a 30 day vow of silence in Nepal. He's now a mime. I kid.
Chadwick is a loss to this site. He and Hedonist were always two of my favourites (Hedo's still around but not as active in the MT where I really liked her perspective).
I don't know if Chadwick is still around?
