I'm Lingusin in on Saturday night flight (JFK to Dublin to Schipol). Its only an hour and 15 minute layover so I hope we make it out of JFK in a timely manner.

PS what the phudge is a rucksack. The internet video for Lingus says no rucksack carry ons. Is a small north face book bag with shoulder strapsa "rucksack"?

Aer Lingus? Good stuff, they were set to strike next Monday and Wednesday, luckily they called it off. One time Delta over-sold my connecting flight to Jamaica costing my family one day of vacation. Needless to say, my wife was upset and the airline cut us a check for almost enough to pay for the whole trip. :D

I was stressing over the strike. I'm flying on the 16th and 18th, the 2 proposed strike days. Big relief when they called it off.

Hi all. Have a spare ticket for both nights (1st standing, 2nd sitting). Anyone interested?
( sorry if it is the wrong thread)

I'll take them if they aren't gone... see higher in thread for request. Traveling today, please PM me and I will return the message when I can.......at least I HOPE were traveling again today, but with United who the hell knows, probably end up in Istanbul or some crap...haha .... (trying to laugh to keep from crying)

Not sure what a ruck sack is but they weren't really strict about the carry ons when I went. No one was measuring bags or anything.

WELL SHIT AGAIN...!!!!.. Instead of landing in Brussels about now we are stuck in a hotel in Chicago.. never even got out of my time zone...haha.. So last I posted our flight was delayed 3 hours.. we finally get to Chicago and the connection flight had closed its doors.. Freakin ton of people at Customer service pissed off.... The next flight we could get was 6pm tomorrow..yes I said 6pm!!! WTF??? United Airlines just robbed us an entire day in Amsterdam... but the good news is out flight tomorrow is direct into Schiphol... arriving at 9am-ish. I hope no one else flight problems, but if you have United I wish you the best of luck.

Well hopefully you've had you're quota of suck and the rest of the adventure will be flat out fuckin' awesome ! Happy Trails

Any news on the Ten Club section yet? As I wrote earlier, in 2012 there was a section at the front on the night for which Ten Club tickets were sold. The other night there was no Ten Club ticket sale and I don't know if there was a section. This year the first night (16 June) was a Ten Club sale. We have all received the confirmation email, but it only talks about early entrance. Not about a Ten Club section. The 17 June was added late and there was no Ten Club sale.

Some great people in Line at the Pop Up store... which they had more goodies, but it was worth it just meeting the people.

The square in Leidsplein should have a few spots. We could all meet there and then decide where to watch it.

Hey Man-Y'all still want to meet up for this?

If there's any specific spot we can meet up at, I'm all for it. I'll be in a white Clint Dempsey jersey tonight.

No worries either way, I'm sure I'll be so pumped from the show it doesnt matter where or who I watch the game with...outside of a tv, a cold beer, and my wife I'm pretty basic

There are a couple of bars around the Ziggo Dome area, just in in front as well. Most of them serve beer and burgers and play PJ-music. So, no worries. Just get the 54 metro to Bijlmer Station, have a drink, a bite, relax and walk your way up the Ziggo Dome.
