I just got through the first season of mad men. I just don't get why people like this show. It goes nowhere. There is no flow to the show at all. There seems to be no plot. And the people smoke more kn that show than Matthew McConaughey did on true detective. Unless someone says mad men gets unbelievably better after season one, I'm bailing on it.

Don't bail. It's too good of a show to not at least watch the 2nd season. Sometimes people don't get 'into' series until the 2nd season.

Finishing up Damages on netflix. Really good show. The same guys that did Damages did that show Bloodline on netflix. Will be watching that or the new season of orange is the new black next.

I read the first Strange & Norrell. Watching the show now.
I like the suggestion of Party Down. Awesome show and only 2 seasons so it is quick. I liked Daredevil on Netshits, thought it was pretty good. Also, Bosch on Amazon. Rome, from HBO, is on Amazon. Deadwood is one of my all time favorite shows.
The obvious ones that everyone watches it sounds like you already have a handle on. GoT, Breaking Bad, Fall Guy (lol), Orange, Sunny, House of Cards.

It's Marc Warren, I've seen him in quite a few things as he's a British actor. Can't quite remember which episode of Doctor Who he was in but it may ring a bell

I am FINALLY watching Lost for the first time, now that it's on Netflix. I am binge watching like crazy. I had my first Lost-themed dream last night. That always happens when I binge watch stuff. When I re-watched Breaking Bad in a huge hurry before the last season started I was actually having Breaking Bad themed nightmares. Anyway, all my friends were always discussing Lost, so I know that it gets weirder as it goes along... I also know how it ends (the one episode I watched live was the finale because some friend had a watching party). So at least I'm not being set up for a let down like the rest of the world was, haha. Anyway, so far I'm really enjoying it. I just started season 2, so they just went down through the hatch. How exciting. So far I've been really happy about who they have decided to kill (although wish that the hallucinated death of one of them was disappointing. I wanted that death to be real, lol). One thing I don't get, though, is why Jin's behaviour includes super sexist and obsessive jealousy towards his wife. Nothing in the story explains that part of his fucked up issues. ..... I need a Lost thread to discuss these things. But it's too outdated to be able to find anyone else to participate, lol.
