Ouch, can't believe I missed that auction. I got an EB alert a couple of weeks ago so I contacted the guy. He sent an email with pictures right away and was communicating really well. The poster wasn't in great shape but certainly good enough so I gave him an offer and he got me bidding against a ghost. Miraculously we kept coming up with the same $ and he asked for my best offer. I gave it to him on 3/8 and haven't heard from him since despite a follow up email. I'm a little disappointed but wasn't looking forward to giving this guy a bunch of money for a poster that was only in fair shape. If he wanted to start an auction, he should've listed on ebay.
Thanks for the show of support 2, you're too kind!

I'd been looking for a Vancouver '98 for a while and I found a guy on there willing to sell one that was in pretty solid shape (there's a bit of a wrinkle on the back side of it, but the front side is in great shape) for a decent price. I managed to score a Portland 2000 of there last year as well for a really good price. It's helped me close out my my collection of posters from the shows I've been too (except the ones without posters).
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.
I know, right? I understand that he has a right to post it for whatever price he'd like, but that's far enough off of the 6 month average that he might as well leave it in his pocket if not willing to negotiate at all, which he wasn't.

I was in search of a rare item for a few years, and one day I received a random PM from a member on here. I now have that item. I know it is sometimes hard not to give up, but stay positive. You will find it!
Cant believe someone cut part of the border off. To be fair lots of 98s have pinholes in them. We didnt know In 1998 that these things would pay for our kids Fall semesters.
